I first thought that the entire boot was covered in a thin layer of leather but I had come to find out that only the forefoot is made from leather. Look closely at the photo above and you’ll notice a different texture and grain between the forefoot and the midfoot.The Copa 20.3 has a stitched calfskin leather forefoot and a synthetic midfoot with a burrito-style tongue The 20.3 uses a calfskin leather instead of the more premium K-leather. Also, the leather is restricted to the forefoot as synthetic material dominate the midfoot. The 20.3 does not have knit. How does the 20.3 feel on feet? First up, let’s be clear: this is the adidas Copa, the most modern, technologically advanced boot in the Copa range, as opposed to the more traditional Copa Mundial and Copa Gloro. The firm ground (FG) studs don’t pose too much of a problem for me on artificial ground (AG) and receives our seal of approval for dual FG/AG purposes.
