Yarn over the slip knot through the stitch between any 2 hdc(s). dc#tog: [yo, insert hook into stitch indicated, pull up loop, yo, pull through 2 loops] do this the number of times it says in pattern (example: dc5tog = 5 times.). Yo, pull through all loops. Leaf 1: Work the following in the circle just made: ch 2, 6 dc, ch 3, st st to 1st ch, 6 dc, ch 2, sl st* Do not fasten off. You have just made the first leaf.
I love how this pumpkin crochet pattern is so versatile because you can change the size even further by the size yarn you choose. Choose a bulky weight yarn for larger pumpkins or choose a DK weight yarn or even fingering weight yarn for an adorable crochet mini pumpkin. For the stems, you’ll need wood pieces that you’ll cut to about 2” tall. You can cut out leaves from felt, wool or use artificial leaves. Then simply use your hot glue gun to attach to the top of the pumpkin. I attach the leaves first and then attach the stem. All the Fall vibes have been getting to me lately!
