Located at the foot of Glenshee in Perthshire, the Persie Distillery employs a distinctive approach to its gin-making, particularly advocating for the power of aroma to shape the overall drinking experience. Their creations are crafted with a variety of botanicals meticulously chosen not just for their taste but also for their aromatic qualities. The overarching objective is to encapsulate specific, evocative scent profiles that subsequently translate into vivid, delightful flavours on the palate.An explosion of limes and blood oranges with piny notes on the nose. Like the breed, this is traditional, soft in the mouth and warming (made with juniper and eucalyptus). The Distil Your Own tour will showcase the art of distillation and what it takes to create a gin. Visitors will create a bespoke gin, explore the botanicals on offer at Darnley's, tour the distillery and sample the gin range as well as a couple of G&T's. Consistently voted one of Scotland's most popular gins, this island spirit has been making waves since it launched in 2015 thanks to its unique taste and eye-catching bottle, which has also won awards.

Throughout the week, the Oro team run a bespoke programme of Distillery Tours and Tasting Classes, from 10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday. Visitors are invited to an interactive tour and tasting at The Glasgow Distillery Company, where you can see first hand the craftsmanship and care that goes into each bottle.
