However if all you need is a basic buggy, then, trust us, you won’t really go wrong with this. Our tester found that the Mothercare Nanu buggy was easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth or wet wipe. But this thinness doesn’t mean that the footmuff is cold. According to Cybex, the Snøgga is adapted to withstand the weather between -10 and +10 degrees. And after a winter’s use, you can’t doubt this. Even though the footmuff looks thin, it is very good at keeping the heat in. No extra layers of clothing are required for your baby to stay a good temperature at zero degrees. This buggy was one of the cheapest we put to the test but, overall, was one of the best, receiving impressive scores in all categories from our experienced tester. We conducted our footmuff test ourselves and tested all footmuffs as they are intended to be used by real families in real situations. The footmuffs have been tested in both carrycots and pushchairs and by children of different sizes and in different age ranges. They have been used on milder winter days, and in very cold weather several degrees below zero. No matching extras are currently available, however you can buy a universal standard footmuff from Mothercare if needed. We were delighted to see that that this brilliant little pushchair comes with a good rain cover as standard and that the basket, for this kind of stroller, is a reasonable size. Can I buy any extras? Our tester found that it struggled on bumpier ground, especially on grass, which is a common complaint for all umbrella strollers due to their design. The harness is a secure five-pointer that is easy to clip and unclip. Compared with pricier buggies, this model didn’t feel cheap. Our tester found that the amount of storage was reasonable for a small shopping trip or for running errands and that it can just about hold a standard sized changing bag – it passed the changing bag test with flying colours with our tester’s toddler sat in the seat, but was a little wobbly without a passenger. For this model, we think that most parents would probably find it easier hanging the changing bag over the handles of the buggy to free up the basket. How easy is the fold?This lightweight buggy is comfortable and very easy to push, and handled well on all pavements, roads and smooth ground. No pram is a match for our universal raincovers. They will fit Silver cross I-size car seats too. They are easy to travel with and wont take up much space, You can store these in the pram basket or in a bag.

The weight limit isn’t as high as some of the buggies we tested, but we still feel it’s a great buggy that will grow with your child and keep them safe and secure. Any extra features? As an umbrella stroller, it stands tall when compact, so is a great option for those parents looking for something slimmer or for those who need to store a buggy in a small area such as a hallway. How does it look? The Mothercare Nanu Stroller collapses well. It’s certainly not the easiest fold we tested, but for its price it does more than an adequate job.

The Cybex Platinum Footmuff is made to both fit perfectly in and attractively match the brand’s two premium pram models – the Cybex Priam and the Cybex Mios. The Cybex Platinum Footmuff is available in the same colours as the strollers. The footmuff is better in a baby car seat than in a carrycot. The Cybex Snøgga Mini’s rear section has an opening for the car seat harness. This makes it easy to keep your baby warm if you use the baby car seat on the stroller chassis in winter. However, it would have been nice if it was possible to open up the foot end of the footmuff completely so it didn’t get too warm when the child is travelling in a heated car. The Cybex Snøgga is more spacious than the Snøgga Mini (for baby car seat and carrycot) but still shorter than standard at 89 cm. It works up to about two years old, but then the footmuff will start to feel a bit narrow. The Snøgga can also be adapted for the carrycot because it is so soft and thin.
