We saw a prop guy with guts stuffed into his mouth like a hose and many unfortunate patients / victims in a bloody mess on exam tables. Circular saw blades came cutting at us through a door. A charred skeleton slid out of a crematory oven. Logs can be sent down the zipline, additionally corpses and torso’s can be "carried" while using the zipline. That total exactly matched the timing of our former visit. Given the improvements we’ve noted and our overall greater enjoyment, the value feels like it correspondingly went up. The MPD (minutes of entertainment per dollar spent) came out 1.73 –- also the same as last time, because unlike everything else in our inflationary world, the prices have held steady since 2021!

Your Night Pass will give you all night access to The Nets. Woven within the towering trees, navigate your way through this bouncy, unpredictable netted maze. Will you end up cornered by the clowns, or will you run for your life along Europe’s longest net walkway? This attraction owned the best scare out the exit door. It was an approach we’re all used to at the end of haunts, but timed well and performed potently for a successful flourish of a fright at the very end. We could tell that a good effort was made. However, we’ve seen this done much better at other places, or can detect areas where significant improvements can be made. This is about the top end of what we’d call “Family Friendly.”Available Separately- Requires Night Pass. If you’re desperate to escape the clowns, why not take a seat on one of Europe’s largest swings, and take a moment to catch your breath as you’re hoisted 24m up into the air. The calm is short-lived as a brave member of your group pulls the cord and sends you all flying through the piercing sky. This stomach-dropping adventure is a terrifying, adrenaline-fuelled experience suitable for up to 5 people at a time. You may escape the clowns for 10 minutes, but you’ll need to face an entirely different fear all together… Where, when?

We took 52 minutes to make the circuit of all four attractions at Fear Forest. Here’s the time by each attraction: Haunted Hayride – 24 minutes, Insane-a-tarium – 11 minutes, Psycho Path – 7 minutes, Forbidden Cornfield – 10 minutes.

If animatronics are your jam, Fear Forest’s collection just might reduce you to a quivering puddle of fanboy/fangirl jelly. We think they’re trying to set some kind of record here! There seemed to be one around every corner, and they exhibit a huge variety of sizes, shapes, motions, and sounds. They filled out scenes, scared, helped set up live actor scares, and sometimes just took up some space so we had something cool to look at or react to. The wagon started us off by going under a neon sign archway that read ‘Fear Forest’ flanked by pumpkin headed ghosties on either side. Tons of effects, interactive scenes, and actors jumping on and off the wagon kept us more immersively engaged than many other hayrides we’ve experienced. Furthermore, a fear of forests can contribute to a general disconnection from nature. Many people today spend the majority of their time indoors, and may have little experience or understanding of the natural world. A fear of forests can exacerbate this disconnection, as it can lead to a sense of alienation and fear towards one of the most iconic and important natural environments.
