In terms of formula, I was really amazed by Lacquered up. It was basically opaque in one coat, but I had to do two coats to cover up the visible nail line on some nails. It was really easy to work with, and it is so shiny that it almost looks like I’m wearing gel nail polish! Essie is one of the most famous nail care brands in the world, loved by salons and famous names alike – including Her Majesty the Queen, who loves the Essie colour Ballet Slippers. Essie was established in 1981 by Essie Weingarten, who jetted off to Vegas to promote her 12 unique nail polish colours. These original 12 colours included Baby's Breath and Bordeaux, colours which are still featured in the contemporary Essie colour line-up. In this second round I hoped to be a bit closer with the colors, but only Essie’s Color binge ended up being similar. Again, the formula of Color binge was more jelly and not as opaque as ‘Fifth avenue’. Essie’s Toy to the world and OPI Short-stop are more pink than Fifth avenue. Conclusion Mod square (an electric pink creme, was originally named Mod squad, originally released in the Spring 2006 collection, but still available in the US)
Find me an oasis (An ice blue creme, was already released before in Europe in the Resort 2014 collection, original number 315) I just pulled out the shades I thought were the closest and were the most difficult to tell apart. Reds are always super difficult to compare, so I hope you can forgive me if the comparisons are not 100 percent clear.
