About this deal

Water Tank - The dehumidifier has a 1.5 litre water tank which can be easily removed when it needs emptying. After it has been emptied and reinserted, the dehumidifier will automatically start up again. Rubber feet at the base help to give the unit more stability when setting it up. However, this does not do much in making it easier to move the dehumidifier. Thanks to its small and light build, you can simply lift and carry the unit to any spot in the house. Emptying the electriQ 10L The ElectrIQ CD10L, with the white and green colour scheme coupled with the circular holes of the outflow vent make it look quite modern and it certainly doesn’t give away its low price tag. All costs includes parts, labour, call out and delivery charges, so you can rest assured there are no hidden costs. For smaller units we may ask you to return it to our UK repair centre. Activated Carbon filter and HEPA filter supplied as standard: can remove pollen, dustand animal hairs in large rooms (up to 55 sqm)

There is nothing worse than your dehumidifier breaking down just after the Manufacturer's warranty has expired. Here at Buy It Direct Ltd we want you to get the most out of your dehumidifier, which is why we offer a 2 Year Warranty plan. One nice thing about this design is that the controls are very simple to use. They consist of only 4 buttons – two are up and down buttons for adjusting the humidity level, one is for turning the unit on & off, while the last button is for accessing a timer function. There is also an LCD screen that displays the humidity level of a room. LED indicator lights that show chosen settings, when the dehumidifier is on, and when the tank is full are great additions as well.Let's start with the basics though. It's a refrigerant (compressor) dehumidifier with a built-in humidistat, digital display and a 24 hour timer. Weighing 9.5kg, it's considerably lighter than the 20L version, and also much smaller. The plain white design isn't going to win any awards for innovation, but it's clean and simple to use. With a range of domestic dehumidifiers, relatively low prices and some interesting new features (including smart connectivity and antibacterial properties), it's easy to see why consumers are starting to take note of this new company. Lights up red when the water collection tank is full. The CD10L will stop dehumidifying automatically when this occurs, so there is no chance of an overflow. An effective way to combat mould, condensation and dampness with further energy savings due to smart app scheduling

Electriq dehumidifiers often go under the radar compared to the "big three" manufacturers ( Ebac, E coAir and Meaco) - but they are starting to grow in popularity.Suitability - The electriQ 10L Dehumidifier is great at protecting against damp, condensation, mildew, mould, etc. It can dehumidify houses with up to 3 bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, utility rooms, caravans, garages, offices, etc. It also filters allergens from the air, making it suitable for people with breathing problems.

It's not perfect though. The CD20LE is one of the bulkiest dehumidifiers on the market, weighing a hefty 13.8kg and with a width of 42.5cm. The built-in carry handle and castors make it easier to move around the home, but it's certainly not a portable dehumidifier. It's also not as effective in cooler conditions, so for garages or unheated rooms we recommend a desiccant dehumidifier. The egg-shaped appliance measures 33.5cm wide by 28.0cm deep by 43.5cm tall, which is roughly on a par with the other dehumidifiers in its class. Protect your health and home from the harmful effects of excess humidity with this fast-dry 10L desiccant dehumidifier from electriQ - now at popular request with WiFi Alexa/ Google Assistant voice control and automation. Suitable for flats and homes up to 6 bedrooms, this powerful yet incredibly energy efficient dehumidifier provides a cost-effective solution in combating damp, mould and condensation. One complaint we have about this model is the 5 litre water tank. While this is bigger than most tanks, we would have liked a 6 litre tank considering the high maximum extraction rate. It's also not cheap, so there are probably better options if you don't need the "Smart" features. This doesn't mean the CD10L has no redeeming qualities. It's just as quiet as the CD20LE, at 42dB, and has a high build quality. It's also relatively energy efficient and lightweight - along with being one of the cheapest Electriq models.Even so, it does a brilliant job of removing moisture from the air. While it's unlikely to get near 20 litres per day, it pulls large amounts of water from the air - especially at room temperature or higher. It also has a four litre water tank, so you won't need to empty it as often as other models (although this is smaller than the 6 litre Meaco Low Energy 20L). Our Extended5 Year Warranty from Buy It Direct gives you the reassurance that if an electrical or mechanical fault arises you won't be exposed to costly repair bills. Our dedicated technical team will take care of your dehumidifier. The dehumidifier only comes with one fan speed. Having two fan speeds gives the variation between power when you need it and quietness when you don’t. So it’s a shame not to see it on the CD10L, but not unexpected for a machine in this price range. Once activated, the auto feature simply switches the dehumidifier on and off as the moisture content in the home increases and decreases. The goal is to keep the room’s humidity at the level you have set whilst using the least amount of energy possible. Timer - The appliance has a 24 hour timer which gives you full control over scheduling. You can set the dehumidifier to work overnight or at off-peak hours, for example.
