About this deal

Our ultimate destination, the Titcomb Basin, would prove to be a great trial grounds in addition to being just stunningly beautiful.

Designed for the outdoors, this bag feels really well-engineered in terms of comfort, something which other manufacturers overlook for the sake of fitting in every piece of camera kit possible.

Made of a watertight tarpaulin skin and an inner nylon layer, the WANDRD PRVKE 31 is built to last. All the zippers feel solid and high-quality, similar to those of Thule products. In the Wandrd PRVKE 31L, I’m able to fit two Fujifilm X-T4 bodies, three lenses, two flashes, and two flash triggers. I could fit more if I swapped out the Essential Cube for the Pro+, which takes up some of the roll-top storage. I’m able to stash a number of things in the roll-top, from a dual camera strap to a sweatshirt and a lunch. Value for money is always a tough one to gauge since it’s highly subjective. How much do you value how something looks, vs how it functions, for example.

Users can access the PRVKE’s three main compartments via several entry points. As previously mentioned, a lateral zipper provides access to the main compartment, which is where the bulk of your camera gear will be stored. At the top of the bag is the rolltop, which is also quite easy to access. A clip at the top of bag secures the rolltop and is quite snug and easily adjusted. However, don’t dismiss it as a mere accessory for hipsters with more money than sense! It’s much more than that, and has received several awards for its innovation and design. When choosing the PRVKE that is right for you, all you need to do is analyze what it is you want to carry. Then match that with the recommendations above. If it looks like the PRVKE Lite is the right one for you, do not worry that you are getting some sort of low-end, bottom-of-the-rung version of the PRVKE. This is absolutely not the case. The PRVKE Lite is simply the smallest PRVKE. It looks, feels and acts just like its bigger siblings. PRVKE 21 Vs. 31The build of the WANDRD PRVKE 31 is excellent and provides impressive water resistance, even without the included rain cover. The foam seems dense enough to keep my gear safe yet still feels lightweight enough with a fully loaded bag. The WANDRD PRVKE is clearly a hipster-style bag, with the fashion-conscious photographer in mind. It draws little attention to itself as a camera bag, but lots of compliments for how unique it looks. Even though one could get away using elastic chords to arrest these objects, I highly recommend investing in WANDRD’s own adjustable accessory straps. They’re very easy to use and latch simply onto the bag.

There is, however, a handy integrated camera sling that keeps your camera hanging right next to your hip, although it’s mostly for smaller cameras.I’d love to see future revisions of this bag have a dedicated pouch or section to store smaller items like batteries and SD cards. This would really help solidify the PRVKE as a bag for photographers. I think this is definitely achievable by re-thinking the layout of the ‘camera cube’ insert. The PRVKE 31 is primarily made from a combination of tarpaulin and robic nylon. Tarpaulin (commonly referred to as tarp) is water phobic, tough, and flexible. Robic nylon, of ubiquitous use in outdoor gear, is equally reliable and known for being very resistant to the elements. These materials do their job very well. I’d be keen to try the smaller 21L PRVKE variant in the future. I think it could be the perfect out-and-about bag, and ideal for short breaks. This would also be really well suited to those with smaller frames, or teenagers who don’t want a bag the size of their torso. The PRVKE allowed me to carry more equipment than I usually could with my LowePro 450 AW II, in part thanks to thin and carefully considered dividers. I didn’t use the included waist straps or accessory straps, so I can’t comment on them. I left them at home. Unless you’re hiking a considerable amount, I don’t see why you’d need them.
