Or read this book to get another hit of that feel good motivational or inspirational whoo whoo. (Make those feelings of uncertainty temporarily go away) You haven't spent enough time warming up the gatekeeper. You should send flowers to Mr. Buffett's assistant."

Approach writing, approach whatever your job is, with admiration for yourself, and for those who did it before you. Become as familiar with your craft as it is possible to become. Banayan’s hustle is insane. He crouched in bathrooms, chased people through grocery stores—he did whatever it took to make his dream happen. The extents he went through will inspire you to keep grinding on your path. If you are hungry to succeed, trust me: read The Third Door.” To get past the second door in the Dark Castle you have to feed it a Night Thorn Sprout Salad. The recipe to make a Night Thorn Sprout Salad in Disney Dreamlight Valley is: Everyone has the power to make little choices that can alter their lives forever. You can either choose to give in to inertia and continue waiting in line for the First Door, or you can choose to... take the Third Door."

Alex Banayan’s approach to solving problems is as hilarious as it is brilliant. Whether you’re an accomplished entrepreneur, an aspiring one, or an executive trying to get your employees to think outside the box, The Third Door is the way forward.” This is the wildest coincidence in the book. Alex is moping about being a bad interviewer because of how poorly the Warren conversation went. As he is doing this, he and his friend see Larry King get out of a car and walk into a grocery store. Alex finds King and asks him to get breakfast together. After one of the first recovery meetings I attended, a woman said to me, “You never have to drink again.” I thought, is that supposed to be comforting? Because it makes me want to die.

Wild adventures. Incredible stories. Immensely practical advice. The Third Door has it all—and it’s exactly what our generation has been waiting for.”

Alex went to a friend’s costume party where he met Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos. He Asked Zappos if he could follow him around to learn from him. Hsieh invited Alex to Zappos headquarters in Las Vegas. They went from meeting to meeting. After each one, Hsieh asked Alex his opinion on different matters. At the end of his trip, Alex asked Zappos why he didn’t allow other employees to follow him around, but the CEO told Alex that he was the first one to ask. Chapter Seventeen: It’s All Gray Whether you are just beginning your first act, or setting off on your twentieth, this may be the best and most thoroughly enjoyable career advice book you will ever read: fast moving, funny, big-hearted, and constantly insightful.” After keeping tabs on his journey in the years that followed, I was definitely excited to finally read what became The Third Door, but admittedly didn't know what to expect. My inclination was that it would be much like any other business book about success -- a collection of anecdotes that deliver life lessons. An interesting read, but perhaps, like many similar books I've read in the past, nothing life-changing. The Spielberg Game has 3 components: jump off the tour bus (ditch the standard path), find an inside man, ask for their help to bring you in. In this summary of Alex Banayan’s The Third Door, you’ll learn about his journey to interview some of the most influential people in the world and learn their secrets. Banayan soon found out that all these people had something in common: they found a hidden path to success. Buy the Book

Bored and questioning why he was at USC in the first place, he felt inspired by Bill Gates, who founded one of the most valuable corporations when he was about Alex’s age. He was also inspired by Steven Spielberg and Lady Gaga, among others. Right then and there, Banayan decided to write a book about the moment in those celebrities’ lives when they found a way to launch their careers. To fund this mission, Alex participated in the famous television show, The Price is Right. Chapter Two: The Price Is Right Alex was introduced to someone named Qi Lu, a forty-year-old, sandal-wearing Microsoft employee. Qi Lu grew up in rural China with no running water or electricity. At 27, he made seven dollars a month, but by the time he was forty, he was president of online services at Microsoft. Qi Lu got into a good university and majored in computer science. I was the perfect example of a guy claiming to care about equal treatment, but not once had I ever looked within myself and asked if I was walking the walk." Alex Banayan starts narrating the moments before meeting Bill Gates. Three years before the meeting, he was in his freshman dorm room. The author was at the University of Southern California where he was studying to be a doctor. He is the son of Persian Jewish immigrants and a B-student. He was consistent and had a sense of direction yet he found himself staring at the ceiling as if something was missing. I write this today for anyone thinking no third door is some kind of cruel punishment--a consequence of being broken.I had a similar experience when I found out I was pregnant. It's hard to admit that even today, but it’s the honest truth: I didn’t want to be pregnant when I got pregnant. God had a much better plan then, too. You see, most people live a linear life. They go to college, get an internship, graduate, land a job, get a promotion, save up for a vacation each year, work toward their next promotion, and they just do that their whole lives. Their lives move step by step, slowly and predictably. But successful people don’t buy into that model. They opt into an exponential life. Rather than going step by step, they skip steps. People say that you first need to ‘pay your dues’ and get years of experience before you can go out on your own and get what you truly want. Society feeds us this lie that you need to do x, y, and z before you can achieve your dream. It’s bullshit. The only person whose permission you need to live an exponential life is your own. Tony Hsieh Don't worry if you don't already have a crown and wings! There are some cardboard versions of The Forgotten's signature look on either side of the room inside two wardrobes. Just clear the Night Thorns to get access to the Wardrobes, then open the pouches you get from searching the wardrobes and equip the items from your own 'Wardrobe' inventory. Alex, Elliot, and Elliot’s brother flew to Barcelona. They went to a party together and Elliot encouraged Alex to tell The Price is Right story to several people. To Elliot, the story wasn’t important, but how Alex told it was the important part. Elliot didn’t have an active social life growing up and when he started doing business, he had an antiquated way of doing them. That changed because Bisnow was eager to learn. Chapter Thirteen: Exponential Life

Woz shares that he had two life goals. "The first was to create something with engineering that changes the world. The second was to live life on my own terms." Alex met Elliot in a hotel lobby and had an exchange. They talked about “the mission” and building momentum. Elliot shared some ground rules:

YOU WILL LEARN

I wanted another option. The two I was faced with were both equally undesirable, impossible: to keep going as I had or to get sober.
