About this deal

There’s nothing worse than giving, or getting, a crappy gift. So when Drizly launched its new Gift Registry, I couldn’t wait to create my own registry of my favorite booze so I never have to pretend to like a terrible gift again,” said McHale. “And like Drizly, I love giving the perfect gift. But you know what’s the worst? Sending an awkward text asking what someone wants. Themed around the story of a brave crew’s deep-sea dive expedition to find the elusive Kraken and its formidable haul of treasure, ‘Unknown Deep’ is the first of a number of valuable bottles discovered by the diving team in which it was rumoured submerged to depths greater than 10,000 metres… a journey in which the darkness, danger and dastardly nature of their foe would be enough to terrify even the hardiest adventurer From today, fans can cast their eyes over this bravely commandeered bottle that has a deep blue pearlescent coating with a rough, tactile embossed finish and shimmering detail. • The Kraken Rum unveils its second bottle from the ‘Unknown Deep’ limited-edition series, which was discovered by a crew of brave divers following a close encounter with The Beast itself. The Kraken Rum is made using a unique blend of molasses and spices, including cinnamon, ginger, and clove. These ingredients are carefully selected and blended to create a rich and flavorful rum that is unlike any other. The rum is aged for up to two years in oak barrels, which gives it its dark colour and robust flavour profile. Running for over 25 years, Dive Against Debris has been educating and activating recreational and professional scuba divers into citizen scientists, supporting over 170,000 conservation actions in over 182 countries and removing more than one million pieces of debris from The Kraken’s watery playground.

Expression: With nearly a decade of experience, legendary photographer Lateef Okunnu will unveil the secrets behind the extraordinary art of drink photography. Specialising in photographing food, drink and people, Lateef’s extensive portfolio in these domains set the stage for a masterful exploration of the art of visually showcasing beverages. The charity is not only a global movement for ocean protection powered by a community of adventurers, but also empowers scuba divers to remove marine debris from the seafloor and report data on the types, quantities and locations of materials collected.

The second limited-edition bottle from The Kraken’s ‘Unknown Deep’ collection, representing the second attempted expedition to find The Beast, comes contained within its own distressed diving cage – a tribute to the brave explorers who risked life and limb by plunging to the very darkest depths to haul these mysterious bioluminescent bottles to the e-shelves. The Beast’s dedication to protecting its habitat follows last year’s partnership with Surfers Against Sewage, in which The Kraken helped to protect its fellow sea creatures by aiming to remove one-million tons of plastic from its ocean playground this year.

White: It is smooth and sweet but also a bit harsher on the tongue. Quite pronounced woody notes, spices, caramel and hints of vanilla and chocolate. The same is true for the finish, which is not very long but nicely sweet. The new series is themed around the story of a brave crew that discovered The Kraken’s treasure during an ambitious deep-sea dive expedition to find the elusive Beast… And lived to tell the tale!During November and December, the Cierto Tequila Oasis will be home to a bespoke series of activations , including: The company’s “What’s It Gonna Be?” nods to Drizly’s growing emphasis on helping consumers find and buy the right drinks for any moment, whether it’s selecting a gift for that someone special, discovering new drinks for an upcoming soiree, or shopping everyday favourites for a casual night at home. Inspired by the Maestro Sessions, teams need to: A take on a ’70s gameshow, the campaign highlights the endless drink possibilities for every moment with Drizly. Each spot features a different game that underscores the wide selection of drinks on Drizly for gifting, hosting and everyday needs, with Drizly’s magnetic game show host consistent throughout the spots. The colour of this rum evokes octopus ink in a glass container. It is coffee-dark brown. When I poured all the 4 rums, I started comparing the colours. Except for the white bottle, all the samples were the same. The rum from the white ceramic bottle was a bit lighter in colour. The smell With its copper branding, Kraken rum boasts an alluring craquelure that evokes the years the bottle has spent decaying on the ocean floor I prefer the White bottle. I like the taste, it is nicely intensive and balanced, just a bit on the sweet side. The rum in all the bottles contains 40 % of alcohol and 20-30g/l of sugar.
