About this deal

It folds & unfolds incredibly well with one hand and the seat is sturdy and tall, plus has a ton of storage which is a huge plus for a travel stroller.

The Joolz Aer+ does still have the option of the cot for newborns. There has also been a slight update to the Joolz Aer+ cot with the fold button being a little easier to use. Bigger and Better Sun Hood The basket is very spacious and it’s a huge plus for a compact stroller. I was able to put my own purse, along with two big bags of shopping in without any major issues. Full disclosure:I bought this stroller myself. I wasn’t paid or given a sample, so this review is as objective as can be. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments. Pros & Minor Cons of Joolz Aer Stroller This stroller came all assembled, which already made me feel relieved because you have enough to deal with as a parent. Everything is ready to go straight out of the box! Make sure you have the recline zipped up before folding the stroller though. While the stroller will fold reclined with no issues, a part will be hanging out and you’ll be forced to zip it up when already folded which is harder than when the stroller is unfolded. It’s not a huge deal but an extra step when you’re in a hurry. The wheels are high-quality, with grooves that help the buggy take on bumps with surprising ease. Our parent tester, Adele, took the Joolz Aer around a grassy park, along city pavements and on country walks. One big difference I always see is that when strollers fold one-handed the closing mechanism is in the middle of the bar, which makes it slightly more difficult to steer with one hand vs when the bar is clear of any buttons. When I say slightly more difficult I don’t mean it’s super difficult, it’s really minor, but once you steer a stroller without the mechanism in the middle you’ll understand what I mean. Folding and Unfolding of Joolz Aer I know this will be the biggest question people will have about the Joolz Aer+ especially once it has been fully launched in the global market as this is one feature that is not consistent between all countries. The release of the new Joolz Aer+ stroller version is making many parents ask whether it’s worth the upgrade. What’s new? Were all the annoying features of Joolz Aer corrected?

However, the stroller is compact enough to fit behind the front seats in the car so you don’t have to lose any trunk space. One of the times when the stroller fit – American Airlines intercontinental route When it first launched it wasn’t, but now Joolz Aer is suitable for a newborn with a cot. The stroller folds with the bassinet attached (makes it a little bigger though), which is fantastic. The handlebar is covered in leatherette for the comfort of the user. It isn’t extendable, but proved a suitable height for both the taller (6’1”) and shorter (5’6”) parent in our tester’s family. Neither found they needed to compensate while pushing by bending or stooping.

The sun hood on the original Joolz Aer was one of the more generous sun hoods on a travel stroller, but the Joolz Aer+ took things a whole lot further! When the sun hood is extended the Joolz Aer+ comes down so far that your little one will have nearly complete protection from sun, wind and weather. When it comes to sun protection, the Joolz Aer is fitted with a generous UPF50+ sunshade which unzips to offer even more protection, revealing breathable mesh that allows you to see your child. Our tester found it shaded her three-year-old well from the hips upwards. Are there any extra features? Like a lot of lightweight buggies, the Aer is handwash only. To clean, you wipe the fabric with lukewarm water and soap, rinse with fresh water and then leave to dry.
