The Wedding Vows from Conversations With God (with Nancy Fleming-Walsch) (April 1, 2000) ISBN 978-1-57174-161-5 The Little Soul And the Earth: A Children's Parable Adapted From Conversations With God (August 1, 2005) (with Frank Riccio) ISBN 978-1-57174-451-7 While this book is NOT for everyone , it had the ability to make ME think . While I found parts of it confusing , almost childish at times - repetitive at others , and different than what most of us have been taught all our lives , large parts it made perfectly good sense ( see the chapter on relationships and tell me what you think ) . I am not even going to touch whether it was divinely scripted or not - that is between God and Mr. Walsch !

In an interview with Larry King, Walsch described the inception of the books as follows: at a low period in his life, Walsch wrote an angry letter to God asking questions about why his life wasn't working. After writing down all of his questions, he heard a voice over his right shoulder say: "Do you really want an answer to all these questions or are you just venting?" [2] When Walsch turned around, he saw no one there, yet Walsch felt answers to his questions filling his mind and decided to write them down. The ensuing automatic writing became the Conversations with God books. When asked in a recent interview how he opens up to God, Neale stated, "I am reaching out to touch others with this information. When I reach out and touch others with this information, I reconnect immediately with the divine presence." [3] Basis of the dialogue [ edit ] Walsch claims divine inspiration for Conversations with God, saying that God literally spoke to him (“over my right shoulder”), and he wrote down what he heard as if taking dictation. However, in an April 7, 2000, interview on CNN’s Larry King Live, Walsch admitted that he couldn’t be sure that it was God speaking and that the books could have been the product of his own subconscious. The book then explores, in brand new and deeply insightful writing from Neale, what each of the 25 concepts means...spiritually, metaphysically, psychologically, and practically. Then, at the end of each chapter, Neale offers solid suggestions on how each concept can be applied to every day life. This is a perfect insider's guide to the most important series of spiritual books in the past 50 years. For a free sample of the first seven chapters, simply go to www.WhatGodSaidbook.com In fact, when we accept what He had done for us, when we decide to trust and follow in Him, we'll start to understand beautiful things, far beyond our imagination. For it is true, that the fear OF THE LORD is the beginning of knowledge. =)The Essential Path: Making the Daring Decision to Be Who You Truly Are (June 2019) ISBN 9781250218834 Neale Donald Walsch is a great representation for the ordinary human being who feels as though he's done everything right in his life but can't understand why it's all falling apart - a horrible reality that most of us have subconsciously shaped and created for ourselves. Being so terribly fed up he is desperate to know EXACTLY what is going wrong and resorts to asking; in writing WHY. WHY ME, why is this happening?! (not a direct quote but basically something that a number of us are feeling at some point in our live) His bluntness and directness is perfectly relatable and the dialogue is written in a humorous and quirky manner. In the largest sense, all the 'bad' things that happen are of your choosing. The mistake is not in choosing them, but in calling them bad. For in calling them bad, you call your Self bad,

Conversations with God Book 1 began a series that has changed millions of lives worldwide since 1996. Throughout this book (and the others in the series), Neale poses questions about personal issues such as prosperity, relationships and the nature of spiritual truth, with God providing clear, understandable answers. The real gift here is that, beyond Neale’s dialogue with God, you’ll realize that the messages are timeless, and that having your own conversation with God is the true subject matter. The highest choice for the Self becomes the highest choice for another when the Self realizes that there is no-one else.”Suppose you could ask God the most puzzling questions about existence - questions about love and faith, life and death, good and evil. Suppose God provided clear, understandable answers. It happened to Neale Donald Walsch. It can happen to you. You are about to have a conversation... These answers led to other questions, and before he knew it, he found himself engaged in an on-paper dialogue. . .question/answer, question/answer, question/answer. . .which he later called “conversations with God.” In those exchanges he was told: “ You will make of this dialogue a book, and you will render My words accessible to many people. It is part of your work.”

I joined a yogic tradition, stayed a few years and left it for yet another, then I left that one after a few years and went to Buddhism, first Zen, then Tibetan Buddhism. Zen was peaceful, and it taught to do no harm. All these things we must place into Life. First, into our own life, then into the life of another. Or, for some, it is the other way around. I want to say for most of us it is the other way around. For most of us, it is nearly impossible to give ourselves what we most want to receive: forgiveness, compassion, tolerance, mercy, peace, acceptance, and love. It was good though the writer focused more on 'his words' than the word, and by that i mean God's word(the Bible). I say this cause the bible tells us that he that has Not 'THE WORD' has 'words'. Hope you get what i am saying or in simple terms THE WORD is the en-grafted word of God and words are those formulated by man without God's guidance.Or may be that is how 'God' revealed it to him, i wont judge for the bible tells us in Mathew 7;7'jugde not that you might not be judged for the way you judge others will be the same that you will be judged' The FACT is: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, James, Peter, Jude (it's another Jude, not the one who sold Jesus to the romans), they wrote in the New Testament, they were some of the first disciples of Jesus Christ, of course they lived in the era of Jesus Christ! Over medium flame, alternate pound of tripe with one pile of cross shredded Conversations with God in the saccharine water.

This is exactly what my father and I came to agree with when we had a heated discussion on his topic at home! John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Life is offered for everyone now. And there's Someone Who dearly wants everyone to come and get all things He's so ready to give. He wants us to live and live abundantly!!

Plato was concerned with concepts of the Forms - higher versions of ourselves (or God) our souls seek to be. Even in the most Ancient times of Greece the Stoics believed God to be present in everything and everyone. Conversations with God expresses how the Bible and Christian teaching was severely manipulated and warped to change societies views and to establish higher and lower beings. This book reminds us that we are all of equal being and we are all deserving of experiencing the highest concept of love. It is only in recent periods - 1960s where fundamentalist Christians stopped interpreting and analysing and took up a literal view of its teachings. So, emotions and prejudices, likes-and-dislikes cloud truth--in the space of which nothing really counts! So, if I were a sole survivor of the Holocaust, my emotions---of hate, grief, anger and revenge--- would cloud away my understanding of truth, which is cosmically, there is no psychological or social judgements!I will give 5 stars for all the points---on education, sex, politics, even the one on Hitler----because during my time of reading the book, I was past morales and I could for the first time see the tapestry of how cosmos worked--- understand this, cosmically there is no such thing as morales---there is only life shifting from one dimension to another. Morales exist only in the social structure created by what is called as "human"---the realm of human words! One had to attend one particular church. If you went to a church of a different denomination, that too was a sin. That was an attempt at control using fear. It worked. People will always believe in hell and a God who would send them there as long as we believe that God is like man — ruthless, self-serving, unforgiving, and vengeful. I have heard the crying of your heart. I have seen the searching of your soul. I know how deeply you have desired the Truth. In pain have you called out for it, and in joy. Unendingly have you beseeched Me. Show Myself. Explain Myself. Reveal Myself.
