About this deal

Consider pairing them with a matching pair of RST gloves for extra style points at your next bike meet! RST motorcycle boots offer a level of quality, safety, and performance unmatched by any other brand at this price point. For this reason, RST has become the go-to brand for many UK riders, and we’re in total agreement with them! I’ve used them year-round and they are great in spring, summer and autumn, in rain showers and cooler weather. However – and it’s a big however – I have found that they aren’t meant for the depths of winter. You can get cool-looking anodised coloured ones; ones with span adjusters; ‘shorty’ ones designed to be used just with your first two fingers as is particularly applicable to MX and dirt bikes; one that ‘fold’ so are less likely to break in a topple and much, much more.

In addition to fitting well, they are also fairly light; both in physical terms and in how they feel on the bike. There is a definite sporty bias here, with good feel and not too warm. Leather Leather Leather boots offer good abrasion protection as well as being a natural wind defence. (5)PU Coated Leather is created by bonding split leather (the bottom layer of hide) with Polyurethane. This is an artificial type of leather that is entirely waterproof when applied and treated correctly. Microfiber The vents in the rear of the heel help to keep the foot cooler when the going gets hot and I find they don’t get too sweaty.

The extensive range of RST boots available provides riders with a high standard of protection, using some of the best materials and micro-technologies available today. For example, the RST Adventures 2’s utilise a combination of:Microfiber Leather is an artificial type of leather created by reinforcing PU Coated leather with microfibers. The microfiber vastly increases abrasion resistance, durability, and breathability. Protection This particular boot has been designed with longevity in mind. The vulcanized rubber sole, double-stitching throughout, and a reinforced gear shift pad all ensure that you’ll be able to exploit these boots for multiple seasons without a second thought. Some Brands have specific Medium sizes, for example Roof, which can give a very accurate fit if you are that size, for example : Another thing to bear in mind, is that a helmet in say size Medium from one Manufacturer may fit completely differently to a Medium from another Manufacturer. Therefore we would always recommend travelling to a dealer to try a number of different brands to get the perfect fit for your head shape.

I have fairly wide feet and the footbed – albeit thin – and the body of the boot also fit nicely, with no squeezing. I usually take an EU44 in motorcycle boots (UK 9.5 whereas I normally take a UK 9 in shoes) and in some boots, this can feel a little loose – I guess by virtue of the fact they are slightly larger than my actual foot size. At the same time, it’s also true that standard levers can be fairly plain; they often come without span adjusters, preventing you from tuning them to fit just-so while there are also lots of fancy aftermarket alternatives available, too. Perforated Perforated Boots that feature perforations offer maximum airflow to keep the feet cool. (17) There is no gaping at the top of the leg, thanks to excellent movement through the accordion panels at the front and the rear of the boot. Childrens helmets are available in a variety of sizes depending on the Manufacturer, but they are generally :The sole and toe cap are thin enough to give feel without too much vibration. The soles are very grippy even when my foot pegs have been wet. When raining, I was wearing RST trousers over the boots and they didn't let in any water. You’ve probably already figured out for yourself, that there is a huge amount of choice available when it comes to shopping for Boots. There are plenty of alternatives to RST Paragon 2 Boots to choose from. Our advice here is to take the time to set yourself a list of “must haves” and also set yourself a budget. That way you can narrow down your list without being overwhelmed with choice. There is a 2/3-height zip on the inside of the leg for access with a hefty Velcro-secured flap to cover the zip and pull the top of the boot in tight against the leg and protection comes from a significant piece of shin armour with a separate hard-armour heel cup, a solid toe cup and rubberised sections on the outside of the ankle. A poorly fitting helmet may not only be uncomfortable, more noisy and may move around when riding if too big or give headaches etc if it is too small, it is also dangerous. A helmet simply will not protect or perform as designed if the head inside it is not snuggly fitted against the impact absorbing material inside the shell. Full-grain, PU coated, microfiber reinforced, what does it all mean, and which material should I choose? Full-Grain

However, the Paragon II fits me nicely so you might want to try a size larger than normal if you are considering a pair. Choosing the right size boot is crucial for several reasons. An ill-fitting pair of boots will not only be uncomfortable but the gear shift pad and armour will be misaligned with your foot. This could be detrimental in an accident, so we’ve included this handy size chart to help you make the right decision! Size Chart Full-Grain leather refers to the strongest, most durable part of the hide located just beneath the hair. This type of leather lends itself perfectly to motorcycle boots as it’s more water-resistant and hard-wearing. PU Coated This formidable pair of RST boots are designed to withstand the most severe conditions you’ll ever encounter on two wheels. The RST Paragon 2’s are the ultimate waterproof touring boots in this lineup. Designed to resist the elements with no compromises made when it comes to rider safety, they are arguably the perfect all-round solution to motorcycle footwear.Another concern is the protection. They are rated under the 2015 CE standard which uses three digits – a 1 or a 2. 1 is a basic pass and 2 is a superior pass. The later 2017 standard offers an additional number but this simply denotes the boot height – the first figure shows 1 for a short boot or 2 for a tall one. These are rated 2-1-1 which shows a superior pass for abrasion resistance but only basic passes for impact cut and transvers rigidity. Sizing - Please Note : These Helmets come up on the small side, so if you are in between sizes we would suggest trying a size up. Helmet city are not responsible if the helmet does not fit. MOMO For the fair-weather riders among us, waterproofness might not be as much of a consideration as it is to those of us who commute during the wet winter months . Even then, if you live in Britain, there’s a good chance that you’ll eventually get caught out in a spot of rain regardless of how hard you try not to.
