About this deal

I know the "Craft" part was a pun on Minecraft, but why "best" when it clearly isn't? How about "At last we get to Craft". Has a nice poetic rhythm to it, no? SLIGEACH_EIRE From a technical standpoint the game does perform better than the Wii U. It has larger map sizes, an autosave feature that doesn't interrupt gameplay, and a better resolution from the increase in power. Not to mention the fact it can be taken on the road. I know this last one may seem like a copout as it's a system feature and comparing it to the 3DS is like apples to oranges in a way, but it really is a nice feature. Personally I'm looking forward to ARMS, Splatoon2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario Odyssey, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, not to mention several more indy titles and yes Skyrim (again). It's still pretty hard to believe we've got all of these titles coming this year with possibly other surprises at E3. In June 2014, Shigeru Miyamoto and Shinya Takahashi were asked about porting Minecraft to the Wii U. Miyamoto stated:

The bigger questions are whether Nintendo would issue an official DMCA takedown notice if Dolphin was released on Steam or truly pursue legal action—and if it did, what would happen. A ruling in either direction would have far-reaching implications for emulation, as most if not all emulators of modern game systems could likely be held in violation of the DMCA's anti-circumvention provisions if Nintendo were to win the case. http://idigitaltimes.com/minecraft-wii-u-mojang-coo-teases-nintendo-could-actually-still-get-minecraft-457794 On December 7, 2015, the game was officially confirmed, and Mojang and Nintendo announced that Minecraft: Wii U Edition would be released on December 17th, 2015. [16]Not sure how this can get an 8 when it's the inferior version at the more expensive price. People should not buy it as is. They just shouldn't support this insult of a port. Sloppy seconds. Emphasis on sloppy. http://nintendolife.com/news/2014/09/wii_u_minecraft_looking_doubtful_as_dev_says_they_have_fulfilled_the_need_for_now Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine

You don’t have to explore or build alone though – up to eight 'crafters can play together online*, while four can join each other in local multiplayer on the TV or in tabletop mode, supporting both split-screen and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (sold separately). Does put the friendly words of the Xbox division's kind director in a whole new perspective, doesn't it? Oh, well. What did Wii U owners actually expect, realistically speaking with all that we have now experienced from third party developers? Wii U Edition featured Off-TV Play, which allowed the game to be played exclusively on the Wii U GamePad's screen. There was some limited touchscreen functionality, allowing players to select items on their hotbar, navigate through the Crafting menu, and more. When asked about whether the Wii U GamePad could be used as a second screen for full inventory management, Owen Jones stated it was not at the moment, but it would be cool. [17] The Wii U GamePad was never usable as a second screen. Mii characters were used as the player's in-game username. In addition to the Wii U GamePad, the game was also playable with the Wii U Pro Controller, the Wii Classic Controller, or the Wii Classic Controller Pro.As of Patch 43, the Wii U Edition has not received new feature updates, such as Village & Pillage, Buzzy Bees, the Nether Update, Caves & Cliffs, and so on. Well hope it works out for you and the kids. I'd say they were pretty young for Minecraft, but my kids were 2 and 3 playing Godzilla, so what do I know?. That Tab A looks nice. I got the Tab 4, which is better than my old Tab 2, but Samsung treats it like the ugly stepchild. At MINECON 2015, Mojang's COO Vu Bui was also asked about porting Minecraft to the Wii U. Bui stated: We've always thought internally that using the [Wii U] GamePad would probably make for a Minecraft that's very easy to play. And, of course, if we were to do something with Minecraft on the 3DS, similarly we would probably do it where it would be easier to play and could probably reach a lot of kids.

In late 2013, Mojang Studios founder Markus Persson announced that there were no plans to port Minecraft to the Wii U, stating that he wasn't aware of any plans but agreed that "a Wii U version would make sense." [10] Initially, the Wii U version lagged behind the other console versions but, they eventually caught it up. However, The Aquatic Update, releasing by June 2018 will be the last major update for the Wii U version. The game will still support online play but, it will no longer get the feature updates the Switch version will get. It is with much disappointment that we have to announce that the Dolphin on Steam release has been indefinitely postponed," the Dolphin development team stated on its blog Friday. "We are currently investigating our options and will have a more in-depth response in the near future."In September 2014, Mojang Studios' Daniel Kaplan reiterated that there were no plans to bring Minecraft to the Wii U because he claimed that the user base for the Wii U was "very small". [12] This was not the case at the time of this post, as the Wii U was ahead of the Xbox One in terms of sales around the same time. Mobs make up the creatures that can be found across the world, both friendly and aggressive. Again, all of them exhibit the behavior of their original Minecraft counterparts (e.g. the Hammer Bros do not throw hammers and instead charge the players, just as the Zombies did previously). These first five or so months after launch are going to be slow going for new and innovative games, so system selling ports are a good way for Nintendo to make money and those wanting to rebuy (or buy for the first time) have some incentives either way. So naturally if Nintendo decides to re-release Smash Bros Wii U or even Mario Galaxy on the Switch it should also get high praise because the games are great and though seemingly little is done to enhance these games they are still great. It's a tactic taken by Microsoft and Sony this gen, but for those who want to buy or rebuy it's hard to complain much. I hope you also have all the other parts too if you decide to buy it then, since Infinite doesn't come right after the first game.
