About this deal

i think part of me wishes that a little more happened in this book. maybe a little more tension while trying to make the relationship work. and maybe a little more getting to know each other since they really only spent one night together before having a kid. but... it's hard to complain. this book felt like a warm hug. And shout out to the best character of this series Grandpa Harvey Eaton who's sense of humour is out of this world!! He really is the best man in this series!! If you want to write a book on character development, Sloane would have to be there. The person she is when the book starts is not the same at the end—her heart is still the same, though, and it’s a big one. Big enough to harbor all the feelings she’s had for Jasper over the years, even when he had her firmly in the friend zone. Huge enough to want to help him bear the weight of everything around him. I love her. Tell me what you want, Summer... if this were your last moment on earth, what would you want me to do?" If you read Powerless, you’ll have seen the first time Theo and Winter met. You will know there were sparks flying between them as they were fighting. You will also have realized that this thing between them is highly combustible.

Elsie Silver managed to get me butterflies, tears of joy in my eyes and a sweet forgetting of my romantic heart in Flawless. It totally outdid itself and exceeded all of my expectations and I’m so excited to see where the rest of the Chestnut Springs series goes. I need more of these Eaton guys! Don’t go RUNNING. Elsie Silver NEEDS to write a bonus scenes of how Willa managed to convinced Cade to go along with her plan to help Sloane get away from her own wedding.. look at him that poor man was probably held at gunpoint by his wife 😭🤚 Summer was an interesting character too. She has just started working for her dad after graduating from Law school, and is determined to prove her worthiness as an employee to her dad. Elsie Silver is a master of contemporary romance and I look forward to any and every story she plans to share with us. Harvey being everyone’s biggest hype man. He’s just so supportive of all his kids, ughh I love Harvey so much 🥹The truth is, not everyone will love you every single day. When you’re at your best and at your worst. When you’re happy, sad, confused, or angry. When you can’t cope. When you just need a hug and to be loved. okay i first want to say i kind of love seeing book titles actually being mentioned in the book, even if it is so dumb. it just does something to my brain 🤸🏽‍♀️ oh my god, the way these two are S O U L M A T E S. i cannot handle it. they had such a perfect understanding of each other and i was at the edge of my seat waiting for them to give in and confess their feelings. This is such a great easy book to read with a wonderful storyline and some really awesome and down to earth characters. I enjoyed listening to the audio book as well, especially with Sebastian York narrating Rhett’s part… so sexy.

You’re not just tattooed on my skin. You’re branded on my heart. Woven into the fiber of my being. The most constant and reassuring person in my life. When I close my eyes, I see you. I might not know his body. I might not have memorized all his tattoos. But I know his heart. I want the rest of it too." summer hamiltion graduated from law school... are we hearing this? LAW SCHOOL. and you know what her first job is? to babysit a 32-year-old man bc he can't stfu and keep his d in his pants 😐 at this moment i just KNEW i was going to have a hard time enjoying this 😣 I really liked the tension in this one. Not only were they from different worlds, but also there was a forbidden piece due to their professional relationship. It was good. Summer Hamilton is a very relatable character. People pleaser, happy to take care of others, sacrificing what she wants. The more the story went on, the more you understood why she made the choices she did. I love the way Summer and Rhett fell for each other, and the reasons for their attraction to the other. As I finsished the book I let out a big sigh, thought, “I wish that was a movie” and said “now that is a classic romance.” Elsie Silver has become a must read author for me with this one novel!

But what I really loved about this is that Sunny doesn't immediately jump for joy to have Jasper's affections. She makes him work for it. And even though she accepted her douchebag ex's treatment, she's no pushover when it comes down to it. When Winter and Theo meet, they have a lot of chemistry. It's obvious right away there is an attraction there, and though neither are in a place for anything serious, they act on it. One night together changes everything. Theo is a professional bull rider, a protégé, and on his way to wining titles. Winter is a doctor, in the middle of a divorce, and finding herself again as well as developing a relationship with her sister, Summer.

However, is it too late? Because Sloane is going to marry another guy (spoiler alert: major asshole, would not recommend! Funny name, though!). But maybe that’s what it takes for him to see what he’s been fighting against for half his life. When I saw the tropes for this one, I was skeptical to say the least. I’m not a big pregnancy trope girlie, but this one? THIS ONE RIGHT HERE. I loved every second of it.

When will my order arrive?

I really wanted to like this one, I just couldn't. To be fair, I think that it's a "me" problem and I can totally see people loving this book I just wasn't feeling it.

This is a beautiful story. You can call it the perfect story to start a new series. The chemistry between the two is AMAZING. Whether they’re having bed problems or nursing sore muscles, Rhett and Summer are two characters vying to be the sexiest couple of the year. But I don’t need a goddamn babysitter, especially one with skin-tight jeans, a sexy smirk, and a mouth she can’t stop running. Ahh, I just loved this so much and the audiobook was fabulous. My heart is happy and excited to continue the series. But, the book isn’t without its flaws. The minor gripe I had was the way the conflict(s) was handled. I mean, emotions were rife and whatnot but it somewhat dragged for me. And I wish certain elements that surrounded the conflicts were expanded upon more.OHMYGAWD! The level of obsession I now have with this series known no bounds. NONE. Obsessed is an understatement. Elsie Silver just blew it out of the park. A restless, brooding alpha hero. Wild heroine. Tons of sexual tension and all the feelings. Just perfect. And Flawless… pun totally intended. Who doesn’t love a gruff, grumpy man who is completely overwhelmed by an energetic, bubbly, smart, sweet woman to the point where he can’t think straight or see himself without her for the rest of his life ? Life? I know you do, and that’s exactly what we have in Flawless between Summer Hamilton and Rhett Eaton. I liked how the plot wasn't so heavy even though it dealt with the loss and trauma of losing a loved one. Also it was amazing to see how Elsie described Jasper's trauma and grief and how he dealt with it rather than just making the whole story about his traumatised past. I loved how Eatons accepted him and gave him all the love and protection he needed because Jasper Gervais is too precious for this world 🥺 It all started with their sweet little 'nothing just friends' friendship. They had this honesty thing which was really endearing and to see how they both just stay and listen to each other's truth and pain without any judgement, except that honesty never worked when they had to talk about their feelings.
