About this deal

John L. Esposito, ed. (2014). "Dua". The Oxford Dictionary of Islam. Oxford: Oxford University Press. Today let’s make a dua for all those students who are taking exams. It can be a very stressful time but Insha’Allah if you put the effort in you’ll reap the rewards. Always think positively, keep asking from Allah and I pray you achieve good results from your best efforts. Ameen Our du'a should include praise for Allah and prayers for the Prophet (saw), invoking Allah by His Names, asking for every matter, big and small, making du'a for others and concluding with amin. The Prophet said, 'The servant will continue to have his supplications answered as long as he does not ask for sin or cut family ties, and he is not impatient'. They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is its impatience?' The Prophet said, 'He says, " I have supplicated again and again, but I have not seen an answer". He becomes frustrated with that and gives up supplicating"'. [Bukhari]

SubhanAllah, raising our hands in du'a is a Sunnah with such a beautiful meaning behind it! We encourage you to remember the following hadith every time you physically raise your hands:

In the Name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah.

A person who recites three times أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ‎ ("I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing and All Knowing from the accursed devil") in the morning the last three ayat of Surah Al-Hashr then God delegates 70,000 angels ( malāʾikah) to send mercy onto him till the evening and if he dies that day, he will die as a martyr and if he recites these in the evening then God delegates 70,000 angels to send mercy onto him till the morning and if he dies that night, he dies as a martyr. [17] Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.” My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.” Today let’s make a dua for all those people who are looking for work. Whatever Allah does is always for the best. As long as we understand this Insha’Allah we can cope with our struggles a little easier. May Allah grant those looking for work, patience and secure them a good job. Ameen.

Although most of the activities undertaken by us in our daily routine are intentional, however, there are few unintentional things as well that happen to us every day. One of such things is the act of sneezing. The frequency of sneezing varies from person to person according to their nature and the condition they are in, regardless of whatever the reason be, the revival of breath after a sneeze is also a blessing of Allah Almighty and a Muslim ought to say thanks for it. Moreover, besides the person who sneezes, the other person who witnesses the sneeze must also respond to the Dua made by the sneezer. The person who sneezes must recite the following Dua: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ O Allah! I beg You for that which incites Your Mercy and the means of Your forgiveness, safety from every sin, the benefit from every good deed, success in attaining Jannah and deliverance from Fire).” ~ Al-Hakim Firstly, we should absolutely not be reluctant or shy to ask for anything. Allah loves for us to turn to Him and supplicate Him, and He will never tire of fulfilling our needs or granting us forgiveness. Subhana Allah wa bihamdihi adada khalqihi wa rida nafsihi wa zinata arshihi wa midada kalimatihi. 3- Best of Dua I know you are there Allah. I know you see my tears. I know you hear my prayers. I know you are testing me. And all I ask from you is to strengthen my Imaan so I can handle the struggles in life and have patience. I love you my Lord. My Allah. Please keep me safe. Ameen

Tonight let’s make a special dua for those people who have left us. May Allah forgive their sins and enter them into Jannah. May Allah also give us the patience to deal with such losses and the appreciation that everything comes from Allah. We all came from Allah and we will return to Allah one day. I hope you’re all keeping safe Insha’Allah. Ameen! Today let’s make a very special dua for those people going through difficult times. Life can be stressful and we all worry about different things, jobs, family, marriage, money etc. Allah tests those whom he loves. It’s how we deal with things that are important. I pray Allah makes it easy for me and also for you. Ameen. Ameen. Ameen. O Allah please forgive all the Muslims of the Ummah, make their trials easy on them, and let us all meet in Jannah. Ameen
