Versed Mood Lighting Luminizing Glow Drops (shown above in Sheer Golden) is a serum that comes in two shades to give you your most radiant skin. Avocado Oil: Provides deep moisture and softens dry, chapped skin. Also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins A, D, and E. Not-so-great for: Budget buys, since this is almost twice the price as one of my other lip-nourishing favourites, Frank Body’s Lip Balm. Having said that, this isn’t anywhere as expensive as some of the most designer brands (I’m looking at you Dr Barbara Sturm).

It is formulated with 15% l-ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C), 0.5% ferulic acid, and 1% vitaminE to brighten, smooth, and firm the skin. Vitis vinifera (grape) juice extract and Indian gooseberry are antioxidants that protect the skin from oxidative stress and target the signs of aging. Wanting to formulate products without filler ingredients, the brand has adopted an ingredient-elimination philosophy. You won’t find any of the ‘Suspicious Six’ within any Drunk Elephant products... We’re talking no essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, fragrances/dyes and chemical sunscreens. Tiffany believes that by eliminating these ingredients, it will allow the skin to ‘reset’ and return to its healthiest, most balanced state. As with lots of other great natural lip balms, this can also be used to soften dry cuticles, tame split ends, as a natural highlighter on cheekbones, and for on-the-spot moisturising.This clean formulation is spiked with an exotic blend of avocado, mongongo, cranberry and marula oils to deeply moisturize, replenish, hydrate and soften delicate lips. I’m pleased to report that, for me at least, Drunk Elephant’s offering represents a happy medium- feeling hydrating enough that lips feel comfortable, but equally not so oily that the balm travels where it’s not wanted. The formula contains 10% AHA and 1% BHA in the form of glycolic, tartaric, lactic, and citric alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), plus salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA).
