About this deal

I cannot get over Seb, who doesn’t love an athlete plus a cook?! I’ll wait. He struggled a lot within this book and we find out a lot about his past and how much he still is struggling. As a bisexual woman, I love all different types of bisexual representation. What I don’t like, is when an author’s ONLY bisexual female main character in the series (and possibly in the author’s entire body of work) is a walking hypersexual trope that will have sex with everyone and still has sex with anybody and everybody under the sun AFTER starting something with their destined partner (the MMC in this case). Also, it’s a problem when (if I remember correctly) the only hypersexual, commitment-phobe, female main character from the author is bisexual. i don’t know what i was expecting from this book…but it certainly wasn’t what i got. i came to this book for it to be a pass-time. something trashy. something i planned on only reading half of because i’d get bored…however, this surprised me. it was actually pretty good. This was pretty disappointing. I feel like the most fun part of a romance book is when the leads meet, get to know each other and then get together. But this book starts from a point where you skipped all that and you’re told that they were together but are now broken up. And they don’t even bother showing how they got together in the first place. Basically you get no context or history of their relationship. Because of this I wasn’t connected to the characters at all and didn’t really feel invested in their relationship.

i really enjoy how different cooper was from his older brother james and penny was from bex, they weren't a carbon copy of the same character. their personalities were able to shine through and we were able to truly love the characters. there was a different plot, different characters but it still remained in the same setting. authors who can build worlds like that are utterly talented in my book. During your commute: If you take public transportation or have a long commute, you may find it helpful to use that time to read.

The best time to read a book depends on your personal schedule and preferences. Here are some suggestions: Yet the longer our connection goes on, the more we trust each other, and the less I want to say goodbye. I know love leads to heartbreak, but what if it can also clear the ice for a breakaway? breakaway wasn't just some fifty shades of grey, there was a reason for the season. i personally think that aspect of the book pulled cooper and penny closer together in their relationship. penny had to gradually build some type of trust with cooper to continue guiding her through the list she'd made. their relationship blossomed as that friendship, trust, and love did. Overall, I’m disappointed. Will I read Izzy’s book? For sure. Her little cameos were one of the good parts of this book. (Oh, I almost forgot how Mia judged Izzy for the majority of the book because she had an “easy” life. Sure okay Mia.) I also lived for the Cooper and Penny cameos. But other than that, I found myself angry and irritated while reading this book. I wanted to DNF but I was too far in so I just powered through. I’m so tired of these unlikable characters and unnecessary conflicts that could truly be solved with some communication and trust.

The romance was a great mix of fluffy and spicy. It was hot and sweet and genuine. The third act conflict was believable and I was happy with how everything resolved. It felt like the characters actually worked through things and didn’t just gloss over it. Bex and James were a perfect fit. I haven’t connected with a character like I did with Mia in a long time and she will hold a special place in my heart🤍 when i originally read first down, i loved cooper and sebastian (maybe even a little more so than i even loved james.) they both had these winner personalities and were incredibly funny each and every time they were mentioned in the book (as well as post-grad: the extended epilogue) cooper, specifically, has such a charming personality. he was caring, funny, flirtatious, nerdy, and knew his boundaries. that man had a heart of gold. his energy matches penny's incredibly well. cooper was very passionate about everything: including penny (and lord of the rings, but mostly penny) the way cooper was completely on board with sharing her interests and taking a deep dive crash course into penelope ryder was absolutely heartwarming. I fell in love with this series from the moment I started it, and I was SO excited for Stealing Home. I also had a feeling this book would be my favorite… AND I WAS RIGHT 🤭 Thanks to the ex from hell, I'm a long way from being ready for a relationship - but it's finally time to reclaim my agency, one sexual experience at a time.

Together they were just pure perfection 🥹 they help each other find their own courage and they both went through such growth, individually and as a couple. I just wanna wrap them both up in bubble wrap and keep them protected from the world, sweet babies. Sparkling prose and delicious tension . . . Grace Reilly is the queen of sports romance!’ STEPHANIE ARCHER
