About this deal

Which tier is best at the Iceland Blue Lagoon? Personally, I think that Comfort is more than fine — there’s no real point to Premium. But if you want to go all out and have the cash to spend, go ahead and book the Retreat Spa. Can you walk around the Blue Lagoon? Yeah, sure, if you totally WANT and NEED to take some, don’t trust those waterproof phone pouches. Mine states that it’s not suitable for water temps above 30°C. There were a few nice lifeguards that would take your phone/camera and snap some pics for you. You’ll leave through the gift shop…

It feels like a nice, warm bath. However, keep in mind that the outdoor temperature and weather mean that the temperature can fluctuate a bit higher and lower. A highly recommended four-course tasting menu is available for the whole table for about 84 USD per person, and a children's menu is also on offer. There are some vegetarian options on the menu, too. You can get an accompanying wine menu or buy drinks by the glass. The Lava Scrub Mask: This one is composed of lava grains, great for energizing and exfoliating the skin and leaving it soft, smooth and supple. It’s a great scrub for a deep-cleanse. I’m sure it depends on the metal and the quality of it, but if you have a piece of jewelry you love, I wouldn’t risk wearing it into the lagoon. Silica Mask– The white mineral within the lagoon is a deep cleanser that strengthens complexion and highlights the skin.

As always, if you have medical concerns, talk to a medical professional. Do you have to shower before going into the Blue Lagoon? The Blue Lagoon has expanded into a facility that includes multiple hotels, restaurants and spas. Because of its popularity over the last couple of years, they are continually expanding. This geothermal spa is a lot more than meets the eye. Between the warm water and convivial atmosphere, this might be one of the most memorable stops on your Iceland trip. However, if you should drop your phone, consider it toast. Not only must the sulfur-y, silica-y, super-hot water just destroy your phone, but you will never, ever find it down there. The Blue Lagoon’s blue water has the consistency and clarity of milk – you can’t see anything below the surface.

The Blue Lagoon has several spa amenities available to all guests. These include the silica mud mask, sauna and steam rooms, a human-made waterfall, a relaxation cave, an in-water bar, the option to book an in-water massage, and an indoor relaxation area with a view over the lagoon itself. The Blue Lagoon is located on the Reykjanes Peninsula, much closer to Keflavik International Airport than Reykjavik. Going to the Blue Lagoon en route to Keflavik airport will save you time. The Blue Lagoon Iceland is the perfect place to chill out for a bit before your flight. The route is wheelchair accessible. Make sure you dress for warmth if you are coming in winter, as even a few minutes outside can be very chilly. If you are looking for a good deal and a way to save you stress from having to plan your own trip, there are plenty of tours you can book that include entry to the Blue Lagoon. You can search for some on Get Your Guide, but we have found a couple good choices for you as well!I enjoyed my time at the Blue Lagoon.Being the kind of girl who loves extreme heat, I thought the water wouldn’t be hot enough for me, but it turns out that there is a super-hot section just for cold-blooded ones like myself!
