How could I forget about sound! It is sooo quiet. I pump in a restroom (by choice) at work and the pump is hardly discernable over the fan. This is just a really innovative and well thought out pump. Ardo definitely did their research when creating Alyssa. I HIGHLY recommend this pump to any mom that frequently power pumps, is wanting to establish or increase their supply, or just wants to own, in my opinion, the most advanced pump on the current market. What is power pumping?– it is based on a baby cluster feeding at the breast, this is when a baby has lots of feeds spaced closely together. Power Pumping mimics this pattern, which helps to increase the milk supply. Power Pumping may also help trigger more letdowns.

Battery life – aim for a pump that can be used both whilst charging at the mains and for more than 5 pumps per full charge. If you do not know what kind of motor or suction you respond to best and have found yourself exclusively pumping, I would recommend choosing something with more power behind it.the flange sizing is interesting. This one comes with 22mm inserts for 26mm flanges. Most other pumps come with size 24mm standard they have a guide for you to find the right size To go into the automatic power pumping setting you press the button at the top right with 3 droplets increasing in size and an arrow above them.
