About this deal

Felaqua Connect is the latest product to join the Sure Petcare suite of connected products. It is a water bowl that is designed to not only be cat-friendly, it also monitors your cat’s water intake, giving you peace of mind. The bowl also refills with clean, fresh water automatically as your cat drinks. Make sure she’s getting the right amount of food and see changes in her feeding behaviour. The integrated scales enable you to precisely measure out up to two different types of food, so you can set the food type and quantity of your pet’s meals. With a bowl capacity of 1.6 cups (400 ml) for both wet and dry food, it’s ideal for pets on weight management diets. The Sure PetFeeder is for multi-pet homes to stop pets stealing each other’s food. Compatible with all ID microchips worldwide and SureFlap RFID collar tags, it remembers all registered pets even when the batteries are removed. There’s no time-limit to this; you just graduate your pet to the next stage when it’s ready with a press of the button. The app also features a setting whereby you can set the speed at which the cover slides, speeding it up or slowing it down as you deem appropropriate, meaning your pets should eventually grow accustomed to how it all works. Do you have problems with intruder cats coming into your house? Do your pets steal each other’s food, or is one of them on a special diet? Or do you find that you waste wet food because it dries out and your pet won't eat it?

Risks and uncertainties include but are not limited to, general industry conditions and competition; general economic factors, including interest rate and currency exchange rate fluctuations; the impact of pharmaceutical industry regulation and health care legislation in the United States and internationally; global trends toward health care cost containment; technological advances, new products and patents attained by competitors; challenges inherent in new product development, including obtaining regulatory approval; the company’s ability to accurately predict future market conditions; manufacturing difficulties or delays; financial instability of international economies and sovereign risk; dependence on the effectiveness of the company’s patents and other protections for innovative products; and the exposure to litigation, including patent litigation, and/or regulatory actions. In addition, you may notice a red flashing light that’s mixed with a green flashing light. This occurs when you’re erasing the memory on the feeder. As for the lights, the flashing green light indicates that it’s in learning mode. A constant green light means that the device is running correctly. A flashing orange light means the feeder is in training mode. The flashing red light means that the batteries are low. 3. Multiple Pet Training

Almost 60 percent i of US cats share their home with another feline friend, while many of them also cohabit with a dog. The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect is ideal for multi-pet households, as the product uses a pet’s identification microchip, or Sure Petcare collar tag, as a unique “key,” allowing only authorized pets to access the food in the bowl. Preventing food stealing by other pets in this way not only leads to more harmonious mealtimes, but also makes the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect a must-have for the many households where pets are on either prescription diets or weight management programs. They also ask for other information about you like how likely you are to recommend the company to other people and information about your pet. MADISON, N.J.–( BUSINESS WIRE)–Sure Petcare, the pet technology specialist, today announced the launch of the SureFeed® Microchip Pet Feeder Connect, the next generation of the best-selling SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder, which monitors the eating behavior of pets. The smart feeder monitors how much and when a pet eats, sending real-time updates directly to the pet owner’s phone. The new product also features integrated scales, which enable owners to provide accurate food portions to their pet at every meal. The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect Microchip Automatic Dog & Cat Feeder accurately records how much your furry friend eats every day. There are a few problems with the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect. The first and most important is that sensitive cats and dogs will struggle with the sudden movement of the lid. Although this feeder is excellent for most cats and small dogs around 10 to 15 pounds, it can't be used with larger pets.

Felaqua® Connect

Only permits access to a registered pet’s microchip or RFID collar tag to prevent other pets from stealing food. Access is controlled by the microchip so the lid only opens for the cat with the registered microchip. This can be particularly helpful when giving specialist food to one pet or when trying to help a pet lose weight. Data on the feeding behaviour of your cat can be found on the app on your smartphone. That way, you can always keep an eye on your pet’s food consumption and can spot changes early on. I was disappointed that the lid doesn't completely seal the food which, in our case, resulted in an ant swarm on a particularly hot day. Because the hub can only be about 30 feet from the feeder to connect, some households may find themselves needing to place it in an unusual location. Use with existing Sure Petcare “Connect” products: Each hub can connect up to 10 devices within the same household, enabling pet owners to manage all of their Sure Petcare “Connect” products from the same app account. The Hub also is compatible with the SureFlap® Microchip Pet Door Connect and SureFlap® Microchip Cat Flap Connect. Monitor food consumption: See how much, how often and for how long their pet eats, to get a comprehensive view of their pet’s eating patterns.

Used with the Sure Petcare app, you can also view reports of your cat’s drinking behaviours, noticing changes that might require further investigation. What’s more, you can use your existing Sure Petcare hub if you have a SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Connect, Microchip Pet Door Connect or SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect. This will give you a complete picture of your cat’s wellbeing with valuable data that is unique to them, noticing changes far earlier than before. If the feeder has flashing red lights, then it means the batteries are low. You can change the batteries by removing the bowl from the feeder and turning the feeder upside down. The flaps that cover the batteries are easily removed. There are three parts to the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect. First, there's the hub, a small round device a few inches in diameter that connects through ethernet to a home modem. The hub's cat-like ears light up to indicate its connectivity status. The Sure Petcare web app is available at surepetcare.io. Desktop requirements: latest version of Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer on Mac OS X v10.9 or later and Windows 7 or above.
