About this deal

I’ve found over the years that the best tasting strawberries have been infused with a dry alcohol. Prosecco, Champagne, Vodka, Rum, White wine, Red wine or Rosé work really well with strawberries. Coating them in granulated white sugar creates a sweet syrup of strawberry mixed with the alcohol that you can dip them in when serving! This recipe is perfect for a night in with your friends or serving at your next soiree. If you plan to prepare them to serve later, I highly recommend having them displayed with the sugar on the side for individual dipping rather than pre dipping your berries, to keep your them looking fresh and delectable. No matter where you serve these alcohol infused strawberries, they are sure to be a hit! Why You'll Love This!

After this time, strain the strawberries through a fine mesh sieve or cheese cloth. Capture the vodka and fill into a bottle or gift bottles as desired. Let macerate for 10 days. It’s possible to macerate strawberries for as little as 5 days up to 20 days. It’s a little less alcoholic than the classic version. It’s delicious served from the freezer and slowly sipped from a liqueur glass. Strawberry Cream Liqueur also great for topping ice creams. If using fresh strawberries wash, hull and quarter them. Add the strawberries into the jar and then pour the vodka on top. The alcohol will sanitize and preserve the drink, so that it should last between 1- 2 years. After this time it will start to lose colour and flavour. What do you do with the leftover vodka soaked fruit?

ALCOHOL: You don’t need an expensive bottle of alcohol for this recipe. although I do recommend using your favourite brand. A diet friendly indulgence! This recipe is dairy free, gluten free, and vegan and can easily be made keto friendly with one small modification. Our boozy strawberries recipe is so simple, it makes it e asy to prepare large servings if your expecting a large number of guests! Just presoak your strawberries in Prosecco and let your guests add the sugar. You can prepare sugar syrup and especially creamy syrup the night before bottling your strawberry liqueur. The size of the strawberries is not important. In fact, a lot of times small strawberries will have more flavor. The most important things is that the strawberries are fresh and firm to touch. Preparing a strawberry vodka summer punch is a fun way of entertaining guests. One of my favourite recipes is strawberry vodka champagne punch. Ingredients:

It does not hurt to refrigerate the vodka, but it is not necessary. The alcohol in the vodka will preserve the strawberries and prevent bacteria from growing. However, if the strawberries are not fully submerged in the vodka I would recommend storing it in the fridge. How long will this strawberry flavoured vodka last? When you’re ready to make strawberry liqueur, prepare the syrup at least a few hours in advance. Prepare Sugar Syrup and/or Cream Syrup

Pop your Prosecco, and pour the bottle over your strawberries until they are fully covered. strawberries tend to float, so you'll have to occasionally stir your strawberries to ensure they fully soak up the Prosecco. If you don’t want to discard the leftover strawberries there are a lot of different ways you can use them. Sugar- you can substitute for monkfruit sweetener, or turbanado sugar for less calories and a switch up in texture. Monkfruit sweeter is keto friendly with zero calories and zero carbs, while turbanado sugar also tends to have less calories than white sugar and a larger grain texture. STRAWBERRIES: Use firm, vibrant-coloured ripe strawberries for this recipe. Wash them well before soaking in alcohol.
