About this deal

The oat milk-based chocolate is so creamy, if you let a square of the chocolate sit on your tongue it will slowly melt into a creamy, indulgent, chocolatey puddle that just makes you smile. The flavour of cocoa lingers on my tongue satisfying my chocolate cravings. Cadbury has finally announced the release of its first ever vegan chocolate bar - and there are two different flavours to choose from. Both Plant Bars were equally delicious with subtle hints of almond and an incredibly creamy and smooth texture. I want to say that finding the best vegan chocolate bar was a hard decision, but once I took a bite of Vego’s whole hazelnut chocolate bar, I knew this was the one. This giant bar of Gianduja chocolate – chocolate blended with hazelnut paste – is the stuff of dreams.

Cadbury is making its first move into the vegan chocolate market with its latest product launch, the Cadbury Plant Bar.

Instructions

It is available in two flavours, Smooth Chocolate and Smooth Chocolate with Salted Caramel pieces, the bars are suitable for vegans and are registered by the Vegan Society.

We’re delighted to finally confirm that the rumors swirling around Cadbury Plant Bar are true. We’ve worked hard to add this delicious, dairy-free option to our iconic range, and we can only apologize for making our fans wait,” Michael Moore, Cadbury Marketing Manager, said in a statement at the time. “Ensuring we deliver against our commitment to exceptional flavor has taken quite some time, but as of November, the wait is over.” A plant-based version of the Cadbury Dairy Milk bar will hit shelves next month – and it’s registered with The Vegan Society’s Vegan Trademark. Following its launch in 2021, Cadbury’s Plant Bar has somehow found itself in my shopping trolley most weeks. I can’t get enough of the subtle nutty flavour you get in every bite thanks to the almond paste. Although a salted caramel flavour is available, the Smooth Chocolate is my favourite of the Plant Bars. Plus, while the inclusion of almonds in the ingredients is delicious, it’s a shame Cadbury’s didn’t release a plain bar without nuts. For me, Nomo is always there when I am on the go and need a sweet fix. Additionally, the entire range is nut-free and gluten-free meaning everyone can enjoy it.It will go on sale in Sainsbury’s stores from November and at other retailers from early next year. Admittedly, we were hoping that the bars would resemble the classic Dairy Milk bar more. The new vegan chocolate bars do have a hint of that slightly waxy texture you find in cheaper dairy-free chocolates. Coated in smooth chocolate, the Diet Plant Bar contains a soft velvety centre topped with light protein crispies, and a caramel layer delivering a soft and indulgent texture. Nomo’s chocolate is available in big and small bars, chocolate drops, buttons, and even kids’ chocolate lollies. My favourite of the range is the fruit & crunch bar. The bar is studded with juicy raisins and crunchy crispy pieces to replace the nuts.

The restaurant chain Wagamama said on Wednesday that half of its menu was now plant-based after it added new vegan options for customers. During the day: Yes. During the evening classes: No. Each person is a paid seat with the exception of our Partner Class where two people build one project.Similar to Tony’s, Ombar isn’t the cheapest chocolate bar available. Its price compared to its size may not be justifiable for some. But believe me, if you’re able to enjoy a bar of Oat M’lk every now and then, you’ll feel much for it. Testing chocolate is a hard job, but someone has to do it. We ranked these vegan chocolate bars based on flavour, texture, and price. Additional ingredients and flavours are of course welcomed, but a good quality classic chocolate bar is always a winner. Sorry it’s taken this long, sorry it seemed like we weren’t listening to your calls. Sorry for not being able to respond to the rumours.

Cadbury apologised for the two-year delay in getting this product to market, stating that "perfection takes time." The company also cheekily added it was "sorry for all the other chocolate you've had to eat while you waited," a nod perhaps to the massive explosion in vegan chocolate products hitting the shelves over the last two years. My favourite of the three, the Rhubarb & Vanilla Fool truffle, brings an instant tang to your palette and finishes with a subtle creamy taste.

“It took us time to get it just right”

Cadbury is to launch its first vegan Plant Bar - made with almond paste instead of milk as well as '100 per cent sustainably sourced cocoa'. Unlike other chocolate bars, I don’t find H!P’s chocolate to be overly sugary. Instead, the fun flavours and crunchy textures of the bar are the real star of the show. Each truffle is coated with a bitter cocoa dusting and has an indulgent, creamy chocolate centre. Each flavoured truffle brings a different sensation. Sorry it’s taken this long,” Cadbury wrote in its letter. “Sorry it seemed like we weren’t listening to your calls … And sorry for all the other chocolate you’ve had to eat while you waited. We simply wanted it to be perfect.” Cadbury’s vegan bars are a long time coming
