Because of the inhibitory effect of corticosteroids on wound healing, patients who have had recent nasal surgery or recent prolonged nose-bleeds or any other nasal problems should consult their doctor before using this product. You have an allergic reaction to Nasacort. The signs (frequency not known) may include: a rash (hives), itching, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of your lips, face, throat or tongue. Some steroid nasal sprays are available to buy from pharmacies and shops, while others are only available on prescription. Steroid nasal drops are also available. Visual disturbance may be reported with systemic and topical corticosteroid use. If a patient presents with symptoms such as blurred vision or other visual disturbances, the patient should be considered for referral to an ophthalmologist for evaluation of possible causes which may include cataract, glaucoma or rare diseases such as central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) which have been reported after use of systemic and topical corticosteroids. Intranasal administration of NASACORT 110 μg once daily in pediatric patients 2 to 5 years of age exhibited similar systemic exposure to that achieved in adult patients at a dose of 220 μg once daily.Nose/throat dryness or irritation, cough, sneezing, nosebleeds, and unpleasant taste/smell may occur. If any of these side effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. While this medication may be prescribed for children as young as 2 years of age for selected conditions, precautions do apply. After 2 months of daily use without a prescription in a child, talk to your care team before using it for a longer time. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/ tongue/throat), severe dizziness, wheezing/ trouble breathing. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the one you missed. Reduction in growth velocity has been reported in children receiving nasal corticosteroids, including NASACORT at licensed doses. See section 5.1. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using Nasacort Allergy 24HR with any other medications, especially:Before your first use, prime the nasal spray pump by spraying the medicine into the air until a fine mist appears. If the nasal spray has not been used for longer than 2 weeks, prime it by spraying the medicine into the air until a fine mist appears. Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction to Nasacort: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Read and carefully follow any Instructions for Use provided with your medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you do not understand these instructions. Steroid nasal sprays, also called corticosteroid nasal sprays, are anti-inflammatory medicines that you spray into your nose.Not known: chorioretinopathy, cataract, glaucoma, increased ocular pressure, blurred vision (see also section 4.4). Keep the nozzle of the nasal spray bottle clean, following the cleaning instructions provided with your medicine. This medication is for use in the nose. Follow the directions on your prescription or product label. This medication works the best if used regularly. Do not use more often than directed.
