About this deal

Paired with a capable computer, having the best mouse for Solidworks can lead to a streamlined workflow and a more efficient work pace that can keep up with users’ minds and hands. The Razer Naga X also comes at a similar price rage as the Corsair Scimitar. It’s pretty much a classic mouse that gets you a workhorse MMO mouse, but you can update it with the amazing Razer’s software. Additionally, my mouse has just died completely, and Razer is working with me to replace it again. Beware Razer quality control, but at least their support is good in my experience. Now, about the scroll wheel – the Naga X’s scroll feels a bit stiffer than my old Chroma. Maybe it’s because the Chroma has seen more action over the years. The newer mice, while not bad, don’t feel as fancy in terms of build quality.

Years ago, I played WoW and decided to get a Redragon M901. It was all I could afford at the time, and I didn't know any better anyway. With Razer Hypershift, accessible through Razer’s Synapse software, each button can also be layered with a secondary function for maximum control and customizability. As is the case with other Razer mice, you can map a single keystroke or a full macro to each available button on the mouse. Finally, i heard about the Razer Naga X last week and bought it immediately. Best Buy let me return the Corsair.

Also, you can easily assign patterns to the RGB lighting zones. The iCue software also provides you with a very helpful calibration tool. You go for a walk in the woods to help your mental and emotional state. Let's just say you get a lot more than you bargained for. Also Available at: Walmart, B&H Photo Video 2. Best Mouse for Solidworks with Keypad—Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Wired Mouse Hey guys, since all my kinktober works are so damn short, I've decided to lump them all together into a single work. A programmable mouse or one that’s ergonomically designed and has programmable buttons and good battery life or connectivity is best in these situations. Yup. Buy new, actual quality microswitches like japanese Omron D2F-01F, Kailh GM 8.0 or Kailh GM 4.0 for about 1-2 USD/piece, and solder them in after you desoldered whatever crap Razer put in it on the assembly line. For 5 USD tops, you have a better mouse than it ever was, and it will stay that way for a considerably longer time. Years. : D

My fix was to leave the 7-9 buttons unbound. If I have problems telling the difference between the second and third rows, it's better to just remove the third row. This gave me nine buttons to work with, which worked out pretty well overall. I was able to hit my standard rotation in both WoW and FFXIV with little issue. Of course, when buying a mouse with a 12-button thumbpad, the goal is to have 12 easily usable side buttons. I don't use profile/DPI switching, so I'm planning on rebinding the button behind the scroll wheel to "hypershift" so I can assign even more buttons to the mouse (for less-essential features). Most CAD professionals know how painful long working hours on a computer can be for hands and wrists. The best CAD mouse set up for programs like Solidworks should be a more ergonomic mouse. has just started, and with CES behind us, you’d think the new product announcements would be dying down. That is not the case as Razer has just released the new lightweight Naga X Ergonomic MMO Gaming Mouse. If last year was any indication, this will just be the first of many new Razer products this year. The changes aren’t limited to weight, however, and the few I noticed first were downgrades. There are no swappable panels, for one, so shifting to a traditional 6-button setup is out of the question. Razer has also changed the finish to a more gritty matte plastic that feels more grainy under the fingers. The rubber grip on the right side of the Pro is now textured plastic and really doesn’t work well to support a mouse of this size, constantly causing my pinky to slip anytime I need to lift it up. That said, this is also a much cheaper mouse and concessions have to be made. Leaving the interchangeable side panels for the higher tier mouse is an acceptable trade-off, but making the Naga X more slippery is not. However, the Corsair Scimitar is only suited for MMO, and that makes it hard to use as a regular everyday mouse. For precision and comfortable ergonomics, this Logitech mouse is a great choice for Solidworks and other CAD software. Thanks to Logitech’s unifying connector, the Logitech MX Ergo can connect up to three computers on already existing systems on Mac or Windows models. Features: Programmable buttons for the user’s preferences, cross-computer control, ergonomic mice with precise scroll wheel The materials feel premium, and it has a matte finish on the buttons and the palm rest all the way to the small plastic details found below the left mouse button.
