About this deal

If and once a claimant has successfully navigated the various hurdles set out above, the next step is determining what they are claiming for. Mateo, Alex (September 24, 2021). "Yen Press Licenses If You Could See Love, In the Land of Leadale Manga, 4 Novels". Anime News Network . Retrieved September 24, 2021. Sou is the protagonist of the novel, and majority of the story is told from his perspective. He finishes moving to Unit E-9 in the "Freuden Tobi" apartment building shortly before starting a new semester as a third-year student in Junior High School (equivalent to grade 9 in North America). For almost three years since September 1998, Mr. Akazawa (Haruhiko Akazawa) and Mrs. Akazawa (Sayuri Akazawa) have been taking care of him in their custody after he was driven out of his Hiratsuka family home. Note: Another 2001 is the direct sequel to Another, in which the story had taken place 3 years earlier, in the year 1998.

Sou, for me, was a passable protagonist. He didn't have the charm or personality of Koichi from the first book. For the most part, Sou was just bland. His strained relationship with his mother was the highlight of his arc (and I'll admit I got a little teary-eyed during one scene halfway through) but for the most part, he felt just... there. Overall, the characters didn't feel quite so well-rounded as in the first book. This is likely do

In the original novel, Kouichi was a target of bullying at his previous school in Tokyo due to his last name "Sakakibara" being the same as a real life middle school murderer from Kobe. On the other hand, he shows a slight cruelness to Mochizuki. Library of Congress Catalog. Library of Congress. 28 October 2014. ISBN 978-0-316-33910-0 . Retrieved November 28, 2019. While lying on the floor bleeding, Izumi tells Kouichi that they had actually met before, one and a half years ago, Kouichi doesn't remember and says that he doesn't, Izumi smirks and tells him that he should have at least pretend to remember and she dies. Mei then disappears. Kouichi called her and asked her where she is, she told him and also said that he doesn't want to come there.

Episodes

She thanks Sou ahead of the semester for his offer to be a "non-existing" student, and she also becomes the second non-exister alongside Sou. Hazumi was selected in a lottery using playing cards as she drew the joker card which meant she was chosen. She feels hopeful and glad that Sou and her are working together in this situation. After some time, Hazumi becomes jealous of Sou's close friendship with Izumi, and later becomes unstable after feeling isolated and emotionally hurt by her classmates after several weeks of being a non-exister. She abruptly announces she no longer wants to act as a non-exister partway through the year which causes concern for Sou. He wears Yomiyama Middle's school uniform most of the time. For his casual clothes, he always wears two layers of clothing, consisting of a long sleeve shirt and t-shirt. That in all the circumstances of the case, the landlord failed to take reasonable care to ensure the claimant was reasonably safe from injury or damage to property caused by the relevant defect. In Episode 4, he talks to Sanae Mizuno on the phone, she tells him about what happened the moment she asked her brother about the curse, but while they are still conversing, he hears the sound of the elevator that Sanae got on crash, resulting in the nurse's death.

Another is an anime based upon the Novel and Manga of the same name by Yukito Ayatsuji. A live action movie based on the novel also exists. There are two sequel novels to Another which are Another: Episode S/0, and the newest addition to the series: Another 2001.I've seen some complaints about Another 2001 with how Yukito Ayatsuji has far too much repetitive information, however, as someone who hasn't read the first book, I didn't feel like this was true. Yukito Ayatsuji's writing in Another 2001 provides it with enough information to get by in understanding without having to read the first book; Another 2001 can be read as a standalone. That's not saying that I won't be taking read to the first book or the spin off, but if you only find interest in Another 2001, you don't have to read the first book. In the anime, Yousuke seems to be a bit better of a father, explaining he'd never mentioned his own lungs problems to Kouichi for fear of someone telling him it was a hereditary problem, suggesting he didn't want Kouichi to develop a complex over it. Throughout the series, Kouichi is shown to be uninterested in his father explaining India's hot weather. Kouichi also gets some facts about his mother in school from his father and even asked once if there were any pictures he could look at for clues.
