About this deal

Install up to 8x 120mm or 7x 140mm fans for massive cooling potential, with room to mount up to four radiators. The 680X makes it easy to showcase the internals of your build with a hinged full tempered glass side panel which is held closed via 2 magnets. Towards the front of the case, Corsair has included some large side ventilation to provide good airflow for the included front fans. The Corsair Crystal 680X came to market with a part number of CC-9011169-WW, which is not as simple to be able to remember as some we have reviewed previously. The dimensions of the cube style mid-tower come in at 505mm tall, 423mm deep, and 344mm wide. As you can see, the width is quite higher than a normal mid-tower, and this is due to the dual chamber design, which houses the storage and PSU behind the motherboard tray.

Thermals & Noise An included CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO turns the 680X RGB into a smart case, powered by CORSAIR iCUE software that brings your system to life with dynamic RGB lighting.

Prior to load testing, we collect idle temperature results for ten minutes to determine the unloaded cooling performance of a case's fans and air channels. Thermal benchmarking is conducted for 1400 seconds (23 minutes), a period we've determined sufficient for achieving equilibrium. The over-time data is aggregated and will occasionally be compiled into charts, if interesting or relevant. The equilibrium performance is averaged to create the below charts. Three crystal-clear tempered glass panels, fitted in the front, roof and a hinged easy-access side panel door, provide a stunning view of your PC’s high-profile components. Thanks for the response and the input. I appreciate your insight and you showing your loop off, it looks great!

GPU dT was 27.7C during the GPU render, perhaps on the warm side of average. The O11 Dynamic did better again here with a 25.2C dT average. Neither GPU nor CPU temperatures reached anything close to their maximums, but it’s a good demonstration that even without heavy synthetic workloads the hardware is running warmer than it needs to. Corsair 680X NoiseGaming PCs Liquid Series® PCs Video Editing PCs Pro Audio Computers Professional Workstations Desktop PCs A few things to note, I wasn't sold on the vertical mounting of the GPU, but I love the way it looks in your setup, what kind of PCIe Riser Cable are you using? I want one that will be compatible with PCIe 4.0 since I have it and wouldn't want to abandon it for aesthetics only. The CORSAIR Crystal Series 680X RGB is a dual-chamber tempered glass ATX smart case that keeps your system running cool with room for up to eight fans and four radiators, including one 360mm. Enjoy superb airflow and brilliant RGB lighting from three LL120 RGB fans, controlled by an included CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO and powered by iCUE software. Show off a stunning view of your PC’s components with three tempered glass panels on the front, roof, and hinged side door, while an optional vertical GPU mount allows you to put your graphics card center stage. Make your next custom build incredibly easy and undeniably cool with the 680X RGB.

The list is in four parts, first the pre-war sets, then the post war numerical sets ie 670, 680X, 990 etc, then we have the EC, EB, EP sets, finally we list the accessories for which manuals are not generally available. We have also included the approximate year the set was introduced. Once you install and run the software, it will automatically detect all your iCUE compatible devices. As you can see, the pre-installed Lighting Node PRO was found. If for some reason you don’t see your device, just shut down and restart the application. We have had this happen in another Corsair review, and a simple restart of the software resolved the problem. So i do really like this case, easy to build in, nice finish and you can really build a nice system inside.. however i have a serious issue with the space with my current setup,The 680X comes with four fans: three front intake and one rear exhaust. That’s plenty, and they’re placed where we would have chosen to put them, so additional tests were limited to removing the entire front panel and moving the bottom-most intake fan underneath the GPU to see if it would benefit it more.
