Heroine, is this guillable, fake-tough girl, who is kind of a genius at her job, it just takes him to notice it. If you promise to talk the guys into helping me move my stuff out of storage on Sunday, no matter how much they drink Saturday night.” Balestrero's attorney, the real Frank O'Connor (1909–1992) was a former New York State Senator at the time of the trial, and later became the district attorney of Queens County (New York City, New York), the president of the New York City Council and an appellate-court judge. A remarkable and important work that lays bare the limits of the justice system for the greatest crimes. Lawrence Douglas has woven out of the trials of John Demjanjuk a book that is utterly gripping and finely crafted, one that offers insights that are profound, troublesome, and enlightening."—Philippe Sands, University College London In this insightful and gracefully written book, Douglas elevates the Demjanjuk case from a legal curiosity—one involving an initially mistaken prosecution followed by a later valid one—to a study in the uses and limits of the law when it confronts genocide."—Michael B. Mukasey, former US attorney general Guilt and disappointment in myself for letting a man change me make it hard to breathe. “I’m sorry.”D, David (April 17, 2013). "Toronto Film Review: History of Film Criticism: Godard on The Wrong Man". Toronto Film Review . Retrieved December 14, 2018. A wonderfully lucid book about the bizarre and fascinating case of John Demjanjuk, the only American to lose his citizenship twice, and about the much larger issues of law and morality that arise when individuals are held to account for crimes committed by the state."—Scott Turow, author of Identical

No.” I don’t need to see them again; the images are burned into my brain. I still have no idea who sent me the photos of Troy and his colleague together, but I’m thankful to them, grateful I found out the truth about who he is. Braxton Adams has been called a few things in his life, but a liar was never one of them. That all changes when he's approached by a beautiful woman who thinks he's there to meet her for a date. The male MC is psychotic. Yes by the end of the book he was made to look like such a sweet guy who got the girl and lived happy ever after. But it feels wrong on so many levels to paint such a relationship and stamp a happy ending on it like it’s the most natural of circumstances. I can always count on this author for a hot, delicious, alpha male who knows no boundaries. And boy oh boy did Braxton live up to my expectations. No boundary was left uncrossed by this hot alpha! I was laughing my ass off at some of the antics he pulled. He lies to her and pretends to be her date, cute right?! Hmm, not when he decides to go all the way and bang her under false pretences. I think at that point he should have come clean..but no, he chose to get laid instead. Morality 0- Braxton 1

Sophisticated and suspenseful, the book provides a trenchant analysis of the legal and moral dilemmas surrounding trials for genocidal crimes against humanity. ---Glenn Altschuler, Jerusalem Post I get into Jamie’s Escalade that is parked in front of his building and hear my phone beep in my purse. After finding it, I pull up my messages, expecting to see something from Kathy, the woman who hired me two weeks ago to be an on air host with IMG one of the biggest home shopping television production companies in the US. Instead, I see a message from Troy asking me to call him. I loved his personality. At first he came off as a possessive, controlling alpha because he is and unapologetic about it. But you find out later in the story why he is that way with her. I found him endearing and swoon worthy. Dakota has been through a lot in her life and she doesn’t realize that Braxton is just the type of man she needs. Whenever I’m in a mood for a sweet and steamy read with a hot and swoony alpha hero, Aurora is my go to author. I’m in love with her writing style. Even though you know what’s going to happen next, you still don’t wanna out it down. I read this one in one seating because I was that hooked with their story. Their chemistry was just right. It felt as if they were made for each other.

I’m not in the market for a wife, Dakota.” His tone softens as he continues. “I know you want that. A family, to get married and have kids, but I don’t.” Maybe he shouldn’t have lied, maybe he should have come clean, but in the end it doesn’t matter because now he has to prove that he’s not the wrong man but the right one. Christie, Ian; Thompson, David, eds. (1989). Scorsese on Scorsese. Faber & Faber. ISBN 978-0571141036. The blurb alone got me obsessed with this story, I was absolutely giddy with excitement for this story, but what I got was even more than I was expecting! The intensity of the insta connection between Dakota and Braxton is beyond palpable, so much so I felt on the edge of my sit, waiting to see how this insane chemistry was going to unfold. Lawrence Douglas's immensely readable book absorbs the reader in the twists and turns of the Demjanjuk saga, helping us understand both why justice required prosecuting Demjanjuk for his ‘egregious moral complicity,' and how the job got done."—Kevin P. Spicer, Commonweal

right a wrong

He turns out to be her boss which he figured out an hour into their date. Not ok dude. Give the girl a chance to know the truth and make her own decisions. It was very sleazy to do that to her considering the implications it would have for her. This was so bad it’s funny. I’m dead serious when I say that if this was to be taken as a parody of NA romance books it would get 5 stars. A perceptive and thought-provoking analysis. . . . The story told by Lawrence Douglas in The Right Wrong Man is a vital part of that narrative of barbarism [and] a remorselessly fascinating account of the longest trial of any defendant accused of Nazi crimes."—Oliver Kamm, Jewish Chronicle
