His heart was so pure, too pure for all the terrors his world had thrown at him. first of all, she lets OM sleep beside her on the bed (almost naked) EVERY night, cuddling her and she even lets him touch her inappropriately and when she feels his "knob", she doesn't do anything to stop it. listen, i really dislike when either h or H is intimate with OW/OM after having strong feelings for their love interest or that they were already intimate with them, especially when this is not a second chance romance and there are no time jumps. im selfish like that ok? how can i believe they really love their love interest if they're intimate with another person when the love of their life is literally RIGHT THERE?

the first emoji that pops into my mind when i think about this man—>🤰i’d marry him and have his kids yesterday. this man is PERFECT😩 If you loved this book, I’m glad. I can see the appeal. I couldn’t stop reading it either. But because of personal reasons that I can’t separate from, I really had a lot of problems with this book.

I just realized i hate reading british accents??😭😭 they sound so weird in my head or is it just me?!? These are two characters I know I'll never forget. I'm so glad we got to see them grow as a couple as well as individuals. The Ollie and Mia from book 3 are vastly different from the people they were in book 1. It actually took some getting used to for me in this book, but in the end, they are exactly where I hoped they would be. all in all, this book wasn’t good, but some of these quotes HIT so hard, especially those Ollie quote at the beginning of each chapter had me feeling some kind of things, before all my feelings evaporated with the beginning of each new chapter in Mia’s POV. 💀this book was so hard to read because of my intense love for these characters. what they go through individually and as a whole!?! too much :( ollie and mia’s strength could lift the entire universe. i love them endlessly <3 These two are as different as chalk and cheese, fire and ice, but together they balance the other out.

The romance between these two is both inspiring and emotional and they sometimes can’t fight their feelings and that is when things really heat up. I ate up every scene where Ollie and Mia were together. The supporting characters were also awesome in this book. Zeke played a big role, he is the mute boy who was Ollies friend and who Mia would sit and talk to in the cafeteria. in real life, there was evil. In real life, parents couldn’t protect you from everything, and most importantly, in real life, there was pain” Because if you never ask, the answer will always be no. A rejection is better than a regret. You can learn to live with rejection, but regret haunts you for the rest of your life.”

before i get into this review…don’t let this bright, beautiful cover fool you…this book is dark. some heavy trigger warnings include rape and mentions of attempted suicide/suicide. I didn’t know what to expect from the third book. It was a bit confusing for me, it took me longer to get into it. There was so much happening and at the same time nothing. All i could think about in the beginning was that the first two books would have been enough. She could have stopped there. again…this book is dark so please please please look up trigger warnings! mentions of suicide and rape are the heavy ones. your mental health comes first🥹love you all<3 I totally loved every minute of this book. It was full of suspense, steam and romance. When I saw that one of the upcoming books is about Ethan, I can’t wait! I love books about killers that fall in love! I loved this series so I just want more! UGH OLLIE AND MIA ARE EVERYTHING. they’re definitely a new favorite couple of mine, they literally have my whole heart. THE ENDING?! LIKE HUH. WHAT. KILL ME. all three books had such crazy endings istg it’s just like can i breathe? the answer is no. ANYWAY, i love love nicole’s writing style omg. there were also just such good quotes because hello ollie. whenever he opened his mouth i was ready to highlight. he really is a poet.she went from someone that annoyed me to someone i admired. we get to discover wtf happened to her and why she is the way she is and it was heartbreaking af. i was so scared, so so scared for the last 30%. but it actually kinda went downhill for me. that’s why i couldn’t rate this higher. everything happened kinda fast and i felt like the scenes and feelings weren’t fully developed. don’t get me wrong, it kept my attention, but it felt anticlimactic how fast it all progressed. i’m OBVIOUSLY relieved we didn’t get to THAT extreme. also... i just wanna say, ollie and mia knew something went wrong every time they “played” or drank with everyone else and they STILL put themselves in that position like 5 more times. dude. just don’t go. Everything was about sex. Unnecessary amount of focus on sex or sexually activity. Every chapter is about some sort of sexual activity or weird game about it or about sexual abuse. It was overkill. Unnecessary. He grabbed my hips and guided me, sliding me up and down against his pelvis, the sensation of his warm skin against me causing me to whimper. If you're looking for a unique romantic story with so much more, then you MUST READ THIS TRILOGY!!!
