It is known for its bushy growth rather than most watermelons’ typical vining growth habit. This makes it a great option for small space gardeners or even patio or container growers. Sweet Beauty Sweet Beauty watermelons are known for their sweet flavor. Sugar Babies are sweet with dark green rinds and red flesh, while Tiger Babies are golden once matured. Because of their smaller size, they are also faster to mature and ready to harvest in about 75 days. Orange Flesh Plants reach a height of 15-24 inches with a spread of 72-96 inches, and produce harvestable fruit in 90 days. The vines of ‘Mini Love’ are compact at three to four feet long, making this cultivar an excellent option for growing in small spaces and containers. These plants have good resistance to anthracnose.
