IN THE FREEZER: We don’t recommend freezing these pineapple spears soaked in Malibu rum. The pineapple will become mushy once thawed. When you work with coconut milk, it’s important to remember to shake it before you mix any of the ingredients. This sweet alcoholic drink couldn’t be simpler to make! Here are the basic steps to making my go-to Malibu mixed drink: I have no idea how fresh pineapple would work in this recipe. I am guessing that frozen pineapple would work quite well, but again I have not tried it, so I do not know.
