Layton Exclusif is a Parfum Extract at 25% concentration (which is even stronger than EDP), so be careful with the trigger… Carlisle opens up sweet, spicy and fruity with a blast of green apple mixed with whispers of saffron and nutmeg.

Pegasus Exclusif is certainly a good fragrance, which will have and find its fanbase, but I am immediately more enthusiastic about some other fragrances from the house of PDM (Layton Exclusif, Pegasus, Kalan, Herod and even Carlisle, whose first hour I do not like at all, but who then combines absolute pleasantness and an exciting roughness wonderfully and is an absolute powerhouse).

Herod is not a scent that screams out for attention. If you’re looking for a powerhouse, this is not it. First impression: The Exclusif starts much fresher, more citric and with more cardamom than its predecessor, although the latter does not seem as dense or somehow more transparent. Thereby the Pegasus E. has the same "dirty" chord as the Layton Exclusif before. It somehow feels as if it was simply taken over 1:1. This changes the whole character of the original, which itself came out very clean with its jasmine note. But both lavender are cheerful, and the PdM-typical amber pudding vanilla base is very similar. Would have expected more creativity here. In the fall of 2020, as a part of the "Les Métalliques" collection, niche brand Parfums de Marly presents Pegasus Exclusif, a new version of the popular men's fragrance, Pegasus from 2011. Pegasus is a masculine fragrance whose oriental fougere character is dominated by the note of almond, both sweet and bitter, made with the goal of marking a new, modern man, while evoking the sophistication and nobility of the XVIII century.

Kalan is an EDP and pushes out for the first 2–3 hours (so be careful with the sprayer), then sits closer to the skin for about 7–10 plus hours. With its unique blend of notes, Pegasus Exclusif is a perfect balance between strength and sensuality. Let the vibrant top notes of Cardamom, Heliotrope, Pink Pepper, and Bergamot awaken your senses, while the middle notes of Bitter Almond, Lavender, Jasmine, and Geranium add a touch of sophistication. A Timeless and Alluring Scent In a nutshell, this is a mass-appealing, high-quality fresh, spicy woody scent… Which is more than likely to bag you some nice compliments. And a LOT of them. It’s perfectly blended and smooth. And this mix of patchouli, vanilla and spices gives you a beautiful dark chocolatey vibe.

Godolphin smells very similar to Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather (which is awesome). If you already own Tuscan Leather, you don’t need this.
