About this deal

I also don't think it's the plumb by itself as other fragrances I have smelt with plumb don't smell like this. Maybe it's the mixture of plumb to musk but I am unsure..I will continue to edit this as I figure the damn thing out, lol. My favorite times to wear this is either early summer mornings when it is still cool and crisp, or mild and breezy spring days. When I wear this under these conditions, I get a beautiful, airy and almost aquatic jasmine scent supported by a very unique type of vanilla that reminds me of warm sand, with a slightly salty note. This feels like sitting on a warm sandy beach, overlooking the ocean and the breeze brings floral scents from afar which mixes beautifully with the salt and sand. I especially enjoy wearing this in airy and breezy conditions, catching whiffs of this perfume from a gentle breeze around you is fantastic. Olympea intense is a very elegant and addictive fragrance . Though it's a vanilla based fragrance , it's not too sweet . You can call it salty-vanilla fragrance . On the opening , I get citrusy touch because of the cedar and then after few minutes I get the fresh amber , orange blossom and salty caramel altogether which is really outstanding. This is neither sweet nor bitter fragrance. This is actually an excellent blend of amber , caramel , salt which you can also get in the dry down. A sensual warm fragrance for women who love vanilla based fragrances.

I know this smell!! as soon as i smelled it. possibly similarities to Tresor Love Midnight? Not the same smell but there was a note in there.. I prefer the Tresor. I will persist!!! And the REASON I will persist... is because when I wore it, and I wore it to work, I got major compliments, and the scent sillage and longevity was real. The orange flower note that was barely noticeable in the opening is very much at work in the mid and dry down. This definitely won't be the perfume for everyone, I can see if even being too much for fans of the original but so far I'm really enjoying it! I am not a fan of Paco Rabanne in general , but this is very well made ! It also has the right amount of sweetness without being cloying.I got this on a whim, not that I needed another bottle to top up the other couple of hundreds waiting to be worn. But an addict is always an addict, and something in this bottle screamed “take me home “. I notice an open floral perfume, only exotic because of the final key element that gives a tempered esdrúxula in its composition, the salt. In my nostrils it has salt from beginning to end, but it is not any saline note, it is salt preceded by an intense breeze, of those that mess up the hair. Having said that, I do not think that Legend is a bad perfume. It is wearable, sweet, gourmand. It is just... meh. Not deep, without any development, atleast on my skin. Most "common" one among Olympeas. This scent is getting harder and harder to find in US stores, which is kind of sad since it's one of the most unique vanilla scents on the market. I used up one of my 5 ml samples of Olympéa and I am halfway through my second one. i really wish this one worked for me! salty notes really intrigue me, and olympea is one that kept coming up over and over again when i was hunting down perfumes that utilize a salty smell (my first dive was with womanity, which i love, but this ain't about her), so when i finally tried it, i was met with disappointment :

However...it does lose that edge after half an hour or so, thankfully. It's not truly ambery to me at all. Not the labdanum/vanilla/resinous kind, or the inexpensive, neo-ambers of Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, mainstream designers or celebrity scents. It's difficult to explain, but I could never describe this as actually being like any type of amber at all, it's kind of a salty, vanilla haze. Again, somewhat smoggy and dense, but it's like a nebulous cloud of a sythentic, (I don't hate stuff based on artificiality, I do like a great deal of things that clearly aren't naturalistic) perfume-y rendition of dulce de leche. I'm really struggling to break this down into a coherent review, the effect is rather ineffable. It also does smell far cheaper than the price tag.Lose yourself in the rich, sensual aroma of Paco Rabanne Olympea Blossom Eau de Parfum, a floral-fruity perfume for women that’s both bold yet fresh, sweet yet sensual. In my opinion, this continues the salty seaborn theme of the original, but is a warm weather scent (not sure if it's hot weather scent, but then again hot weather is so rare where live, I mostly get to experience it only when travelling...)

This fragrance is absolute beast mode on me. It projects well and lasts longer than your ex! I put it on at 10am and could still smell it at 3am when I went to bed and then when I woke up at 11am. No need to touch this perfume up throughout the day...unless you're planning on suffocating everyone around you. It doesn’t smell immediately beachy in the beginning. Just pleasantly sweet and pointedly fresh and clean in a fruity dryer sheet type of way which I’m finding I am quite partial to. With wear, it begins to bloom. The ginger warms things up and mixes with the deep, rich plum. The warm, spiced plum becomes syrupy to the point of being almost boozy in purely evocative manner. The salt note is strong and permeates the fragrance thoroughly. Creamy vanilla blends everything together. Sillage and Longevity: At first in the opening it can be very strong for people who have strong sense of smell. The sillage is very good at the first two hours, thought the longevity is pretty ok, i wish it was better. after few hours the sillage is not as strong as the beginning, it kinda becomes a skin scent, and its kinda why i dont wear it anymore (but you know sillage and longevity kinda changes from a person to another so just try it on your skin and see for yourself). I just sprayed it on my skin and now I understand what people meant by salty-oceany vibes. It’s pretty decent on my skin. Nothing amazing. It just smells like this weird synthetic note mixed with vanilla and sweetness.I will say it smells SO MUCH different on my skin than it does out of the bottle or on paper. The development is key if you're willing to bear the top notes. Like I said, if I could differentiate the notes (my fault, not the Legend's), then I would probably better understand the composition. Ultimately this ends up smelling like having been out at the beach all day sometime in between the changing of seasons from summer to fall. You’ve come home and showered and dried off but the smell of salt still clings to you. You wear a soft, clean, cozy robe and you’re enjoying some sort of warm plum sangria as you watch the sunset. As a chill develops in the air, you remain feeling warm and at ease. Nevertheless, Legend still has saltiness. The combintion of very sweet vanilla, salt and sour plum gives me the feeling of a Butter flavoured pop-corn from Estrella, which can be bought across the Europe (cant speak for other continents). Like a feeling of a slightly turned milk butter, which has been left on a table in 30C for a day or so. This sour plum accord doesn't do any good for the scent. Such a shame, because the notes are intriguing. I've never seen a salty perfume that wasn't supposed to evoke the beach. Ok to me this is WEIRD, never in my life have I ever found the Intense version of a perfume to be less intense than the original, but here I am. I own both the OG Olympea and intense, I find Olympea to be super strong and heavy and I actually can't stomach to wear it during summer. It's a beautiful scent but a cold winter only perfume for me. However after getting the intense, yes the amber is stronger here, but also this is very wearable in summer.

This perfume is not strong like the original and in my opinion is just a bit too linear and boring for what I was expecting from the INTENSE version of a perfume like Olympea. I like it, its nice but I think its a slight let down. I get all three notes listed but they're VERY well blended. It is very sweet, much sweeter than others Olympeas, even Intense one. Legend does not have this "marine" sort of vibe, which is the most attractive and uncommon thing in other Olympeas (for me). It really has its complexity and you can only appreciate when it dries down and fusions with your skin. It's not a love at first sniff kind of scent because to me is TOTALLY different the opening vs the drydown... I can say with no doubt that this Intense version gets SO MUCH better with time. This is basically a fall to winter based fragrance but I sprayed it yesterday just to know that how long it lasts on my skin and clothes in summer time . It stayed on my clothes for 12-13 hours with first 3 hours of heavy projection and then it became moderate and for last 3-4 hours its became a skin scent but the person beside you can still get the smell. It stays more on my clothes in winter .I will start with this: to me, this perfume has nothing to do with other olympea flankers or the original olympea. nothing at all. I really don't get the salty vanilla we get in all other olympea (even thought its in the base nots, but I think other olympea flankers has it in their heart notsopening as well, or in a stronger way). Maybe a bit salt under the floral notes which is kinda interesting, but really nothing like the other olympea's strong salt. Where cashmere wood gave the original a sense of smoothness and luxury in the drydown, the amber note has been placed to replicate that feeling, however it's failed to. What you will smell in the drydown is a smooth, citrus floral, buttery vanilla with a hint of salt. There is some ambergris, but it is more noticeable on paper than skin. UPDATE: okay, know you. Sometimes I don’t like it and sometimes I do. It’s starting to grow on me. It’s like...bronzed warm skin..I'm starting to crave this! Unsurprisingly, Olympea Intense comes on STRONG. Which is exactly what I look for. She's a Ouiser, not a Truvy.
