About this deal

Ivy has a lot of struggles in this book specifically on being popular and having "fans" and dealing with them in a way where she doesn't lose herself. A lot of these struggles comes to play with her character and who she is now as she is older and is in a new environment. I felt the same way as she did with all of the hardships she has encountered in different situations in my life that don't particularly focus with popularity and high school. And I think I have the same views and emotions as Ivy in dealing with it all. This touches me because having to have a connection with a character makes me feel like I'm not alone. He wondered, as he brushed his teeth, if he should invite Aunt Clara to the Iron Boy so she could see that he was a real athlete. My only complaint is that they’re so short. Other than that, I appreciate the relationship the girls have—it isn’t perfect or without tension, but they love each other despite of and because of their differences. Olivia is a perky vegetarian cheerleader and Ivy is a goth vampire with a penchant for rare meat, but they see the good aspects in each other, even if they don’t totally understand or embrace the other’s lifestyle. The boys in their lives are decent secondary characters who aren’t stupid plot devices. Olivia’s best friend is a proud sci-fi geek, a characteristic that isn’t played for laughs. Aunt Clara also reveals she has taken up exercising using aerobics during her time recovering at the hospital with a physical therapist: Olivia and Ivy's twelfth fright-time adventure. Ivy and Olivia are together again - and not a moment too soon. The whole vampire community is in a flap. Can the twins discover the identity of the mystery blogger who's determined to expose Franklin Grove's biggest secret?

Re-Vamped!– The secret is out-cheerleader Olivia and vampire Ivy are twins! Now that Ivy and Olivia have told their friends that they’re twins, they have to come clean to their adoptive parents. But Ivy’s dad doesn’t even want to meet Olivia! When the vampire officials realize Olivia knows the truth about vampires, they demand that she pass three tests to prove she’s worthy of sharing the secret. Yikes! One thing’s for sure-if the sisters can get through this, they can get through anything. Sienna Mercer is the queen of Intermediate or tween books, in my opinion. Even as a young adult and reading her books as a young adult makes me have so much respect for her because her works captivate me with awe and excitement. That even if this was meant for a younger audience I enjoy it in the eyes of one (and it also helps that I'm a child-at-heart). I also read this in the level of a tween so that I can recommend my future students to read it. But Olivia soon discovers that she and Ivy aren't exactly the same. Ivy's a vampire. And she's not the only one in town.K samotnej zápletke : tá je celkom jednoduchá a priamočiara, zámena dievčat, kde jedna bude roztlieskavačkou a druhá organizátorkou plesu. The story is told in third person. The plot is about Olivia filming who in London with her ex boyfriend and Ivy becomes popular at high school. The intended audience is for young-teen and the genre is fiction because vampires aren’t real. The author kept me interested because it is easy to read and there aren’t that many hard words. The author’s style is contemporary so that young teen can relate to the characters in the story. The twins discover that they're also vampire royalty (their biological father is the son of a count). A funny, super-girly story with a vampire bite to it. Sink your teeth into Olivia and Ivy’s fifteenth fright-time adventure. There’s always a lot of stuff to keep hidden in Franklin Grove (like, um, the fact that vampires exist), but suddenly everyone seems to have gone into Secrecy Overdrive! Ivy’s sure that new girl Maya is up to something, and it involves Ivy’s boyfriend, Brendan . . . Oh my darkness! Much better,” said Mom—but she was looking at Tim and Sarah suspiciously. “He’s coming home from the hospital next week. Now what’s all this about an accident? Aunt Clara, are you all right?”

Stake Out! (aka Read It and Creep) – Ivy and Olivia are together again-and not a moment too soon. The whole vampire community is in a flap. Can the twins discover the identity of the mystery blogger who’s determined to expose Franklin Grove’s biggest secret? Hold on to your fangs, vamp fans. It’s time to go undercover! It was cute; two long lost twins meet each other after 12 years of separation, and turns out, one of them is a vampire, while the other is a "bunny". Because they're twins, they're able to switch places when one or both of them needs help in something, and they become closer in the process.I was 17 when I first read this book series, now I am 19 and I still have the same reaction to these books as I did two years ago; This book is called "My sister is a vampire" and it's written by Sienna Mercer. Sienna Mercer is Canadian. She writes book for children. This book is fiction but could be realistic fiction. The story could also be mystery because it's a sequel so every end of the books are mysterious so it makes you want to read the rest of the books.
