About this deal

Jerkass Has a Point: Despite his relentlessly general stubbornness and having a completely irrational sense of narrow-mindedness and self-righteousness, and while that rarely proves otherwise, there are only a very few times where he (at least in his mind) is absolutely right about certain things, if possible and if necessary.

Narcissist: Comes across as talking like and acting as if he is and yet might have mannerisms of one, whether he wants to admit it or not. Hypocrite: He is always too stubborn to admit he was ever wrong. He often assumes others are wrong, even when it is obvious that he is wrong, even if he finds out he's wrong, he still doesn't admit it. Comic-Book Fantasy Casting: Her hairstyle is modeled after Ashley Postelwaite, one of the founders of Renegade. Arbitrary Skepticism: He doesn't believe in a snow monster, even though he lives in a world where aliens and magic exists. What makes it more confusing is that he encountered a swamp creature in the first season. Half of the charm of the Mr. Men is the illustration style. In the main, the Mr. Men are of pleasing shape and colour - they're solid, cheerful and they look like you could give any of them a nice big hug.

Mr. Nosy & Mr. Small

Funny Foreigner: In the UK dub. He's the only character with an American accent, and one of only two characters who has the same actor across both dubs. Irony: In life, when we are stubborn for the wrongest of reasons can cause us to miss out on the opportunity and harm those who cared for us. Being adamant may result in us losing everything. However, not in Mr. Stubborn's case, where rather, he is in constant battle with his belief of right and wrong to fuel his ego. Dislikes: Having bad things happening to his nose (in the original books and TV shows besides The Mr. Men Show)

Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist: He is like this depending on certain sketches due to him being very rude. In "Jobs", he throws his trash out while driving regardless where it lands and gets away from his actions. Aroused by Their Voice: Her voice in the American version of the show sounds like she's trying to seduce everyone she talks to. Jerkass: An obnoxious grump, an uncivilized moron, a smug jerk, and an insecure tyrant who blames his own faults on others. Vocal Dissonance: Mr. Nosy has a high-pitched voice in the French dub, and Mr. Small has a deep voice in both English dubs and French dubs.Always Someone Better: Played with. Mr. Fussy sort of beat him at his own game, but because both ended up switching objectives, Mr. Stubborn actually got what he originally wanted out of the stubborn-off. Butt-Monkey: She's always on the receiving end of comical mishaps no matter where she goes and what she does. Limited Wardrobe: Subverted. She only had a few masks in the first season but gained more in the next. Catchphrase: "Whoops!", "Oh sure, I'm a trained professional.", and "That wasn't supposed to happen." Put on a Bus: Aside from a statue cameo, she was removed in Season 2. Director Mark Risley confirmed that Chorion didn't like her, after rumors that she was removed either due to feminists or kids not understanding what "calamity" meant (there was also an unfounded rumor that she was getting a spin-off).
