Skip the marker. You don’t want to eat something that has ink on it! The angled tip helped load up the skewers with larger chunks of meat, whole tomatoes, whole peppers, and big chunks of fruits. The amount of time it took for the end of the skewers to cool down was faster than the other skewers we tested. Our tester noted that using smaller mittens and tongs to turn these was more efficient than using tongs alone.
