About this deal

Thank you for your allegiance child. All creatures, no matter how small, have a place in service of Horde Prime." Please note that the exclusivity listed for toys below applies to the United States. Also, most of Legacy's exclusives were available through Hasbro Pulse as well, but in much smaller numbers than their "main" outlets.

Some toy listings featured "Evolution" as part of the toyline's name in its first year, [8] far before the Evolution branding was officially introduced.

Jhiaxus's name is a pun on "gee, axe us", a phrase which expressed writer Simon Furman's expectation of the G2 comic's cancellation by Marvel. This section covers fiction that is ongoing. It will be added to as the story progresses. If it isn't current, you can help by updating it. Blaster: I like it, no problems here. It looks more like my idea Blaster than Netflix Soundwave looks like my ideal Soundwave. Even Eject looks good despite my dislike for clear plastic figures. Makes me wonder if we could see SG Solorbot.

Jhiaxus did not often use firepower to take down enemies in the G2 comic book, often relying on his fists more than anything else. Still, he did have blasters (most notably shown on the cover of issue #7 of that series) so giving him two blasters made a lot of sense. Tarantulas's product description says that he comes with a crossbow and an sic accessory, but Armada Starscream's product description claims that he comes with an energon sword despite both swords being casted in solid plastic. Jhiaxus' unpaintable areas are somewhat prone to photodegradation, with his white unpaintable joints slightly discoloring to a greenish tinge. HARNESS THE POWER OF ENERGON: Gear up with Cybertron’s most powerful substance, Energon! This Transformers G2 universe Jhiaxus figure comes with an Energon blaster that attaches in both modes

In the early 90's the Transformers line underwent a transition from the original series (later called Generation One) to a follow up line called Generation 2. In support of this series was a new comic book mini-series of the same name. This series introduced a new antagonist: Jhiaxus. The unusual name is a play on the words "Gee, axe us.", a reference to comic book cancellation (which had already happened to Transformers once at this point). Jhiaxus was part of an offshoot of the Transformers race who had long ago abandoned the Autobot versus Decepticon conflict. An alternate version of the character would be introduced years later in the IDW Publishing title, and that version would get the action figure treatment in 2014. Prior to that, there was a Jhiaxus in the "Robots in Disguise" toy line, but generally that is considered a completely separate version of the character. This Voyager Class figure is the first toy to represent the character as he appeared in the Marvel Comics G2 title and is an entirely new sculpt. Laser Optimus Prime: Perfect! I love that all the cues of the original are there. They even turned his flying discs into an axe. I don't get the complaints about his trailer being too small, it looks proportionally the same size as the original's. The visible Matrix in the chest makes him look a little more like the 2006 reissue. Can't wait for this to be repainted into Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus/2006 e-Hobby Laser UM.

He suspects Galvatron of having his own agenda, though he admits that Galvatron serves their purposes well. The point will be moot, however, once his and Nova Prime's (now Nemesis Prime) far-reaching plans are unfurled... Devastation issue 6 I'll take my GENERATIONS figures with all the extra details and gribbles that are now "inacceptable" for the "premium" lines. Jhiaxus was Nova Prime's chief theoretical strategist and pioneer of gestalt technology. It is implied that he left with his leader aboard the original Ark spacecraft and subsequently was lost in the Benzuli Expanse. He created the first combiner robot, Monstructor, in an attempt to engineer the ultimate Transformer. Unfortunately, the combination process drove its members insane. They proved too volatile to remain free, and were eventually imprisoned by Omega Supreme after Jhiaxus's departure. Spotlight: Optimus Prime Amongst his other experiments was the introduction of gender to the Cybertronian genome, produced by his tampering with the CNA of Arcee. This had the slight side effect of turning her psychotic. His present ministrations involve the prepping of the Nega-Core in anticipation of the Expansion. Spotlight: Arcee

This TRANSFORMERS: LEGACY 13-inch COMMANDER DECEPTICON MOTORMASTER robot toy is inspired by the animated series, The Transformers, updated with a Generations-style design. MOTORMASTER wants to be known as “King of the Road” and will run down anyone sharing his highway! To the right of the head is what appears to be some type of targeting device. This is inpired by the pylons that sit on either side of the traditional Seeker head. TRANSFORMERS G2-INSPIRED DESIGN: This Transformers: Legacy 7-inch G2 Universe Jhiaxus robot toy is inspired by the animated series, Transformers: Generation 2, updated with a Generations-style design Making a run for it, and using his Micromasters to keep Arcee busy, he made his escape through the portal... or he would have if an undead Hardhead hadn't popped up, slowing Jhiaxus down enough for Arcee to stab him and cut off his head. But, in the realm between the living and dead universes, Jhiaxus was practically immortal. Which meant Arcee could keep killing him for as long as she liked. Spotlight: Sideswipe Swing the lower leg panels forward, connecting the knee area to the tabs on the wing panel in the center.

In the IDW continuity, Jhiaxus' obsession with improving the Cybertronian form has led to him altering even his own body. This has resulted in a chassis that strongly resembles an entirely different Starscream. He teamed up with Sky-Byte, who provided him with forestonite, and Clench, who supplied him with the Firecons and blueprints stolen from Quantum Laboratories. He also sent the Battlechargers to find some personality components. A Flash Forward, Part 2 They returned with a bonus surprise—an amnesiac Side Burn. They next headed for Nebulos, where Jhiaxus had the Battlechargers kidnap Hi-Q. With the aid of the Nebulon scientist, Jhiaxus was able to create a "second generation" of Cybertronians. A Flash Forward, Part 3 These newly created Cybertronians were trained at a secret facility on the formerly barren planet Qre. We are truly living in a golden age of Transformers toys. Don’t believe it? Well, had you asked any given Transformers fan ten years ago or so which Transformers characters would certainly NEVER be made into toys, Generation 2 Jhiaxus would certainly have been included on many a list. Sure, we had a few repaints who sported the name, but a toy truly depicting the mad warlord from the Marvel comics? No way! Now, though, we have a Voyager-sized Jhiaxus figure in the Legacy line, so now we can only wonder: who’s next? Ambulon? Boltax? Or even Botanica? Well, let us first see whether this figure here was actually worth the thirty year wait. Let’s say go! Universes collide! Transformers: Legacy brings together fan-favorite characters from across the Transformers multiverse. Figures feature deco inspired by their universe with an updated Generations design. In honor of the almost 40-year legacy of Transformers entertainment, the fandoms come together from across the Transformers multiverse, all in one toy line.

On the inside of each lower leg panel are the halves of the central stabilizer fin. Swing each of those out. This TRANSFORMERS: LEGACY 5.5-inch DELUXE DECEPTICON WILD RIDER robot toy is inspired by the animated series, The Transformers, updated with a Generations-style design. WILD RIDER lives up to his name. He’s a bit of a loose cannon. When he hits the road, he drives to destroy! Finally, something we agree on. As I look up at my MP13, various MP10s and another few select MPs, I like a bit of detail like panel lining and paint-apps even if they ain't accurate. To me, a lot of 'clean' figures just don't look as high-effort or high-budget and would look barebones next to my other figures.
