About this deal

Again, compared to the Klipsch’s speaker, the SS-CS5 requires a more thoughtful placement in the room, as the sound changes drastically depending on the pair’s disposition. All in all, there’s no clear winner here. Reinforced MDF construction reduces cabinet vibration for less audible coloration and improved sonic accuracy. Additionally, the grills present on these speakers are magnetic. You can conveniently remove them if you want the more sleek and stylish copper look of these speakers on display. The Klipsch R-41PM Powered Bookshelf Speaker has a small cabinet and a 4-inch small woofer, making it challenging to produce powerful and deep low frequencies. Klipsch has arranged a subwoofer option for it, which can be connected to an external subwoofer to make the frequency response more perfect. Klipsch has various subwoofers to choose from, which is convenient for users to match the set. Don’t forget that the Klipsch R-41M are wired speakers. There is no model with Bluetooth connectivity or anything similar. They are also passive speakers. This means that you will need an amplifier or receiver to connect to the speakers before they can play music.

Additionally, the compact size of the speaker makes it easy to fit into smaller spaces without sacrificing sound quality. A figure-of-eight-terminated power cable brings the whole thing to life. Spanning 24.8 x 14.9 x 19.1cm, the speakers weigh in at 8.5kg. SOUND QUALITYThe speakers’ cabinet is constructed from MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which makes for a solid and resonance-free foundation for the drivers. The copper-spun IMG (injection-molded graphite) woofers and aluminum tweeters you can hide from view behind a magnetically attached, removable grille. But due to their huge size, these speakers are heavier. You will have to arrange a proper amount of space to accommodate these into your bookshelf. If you don’t have room for these in a bookshelf or on a desk, using a good quality speaker stand will be perfect, and help create a better listening experience with optimal placement. Similarly to the rest of the Reference family (the older R-14M, R-15M, and the R-51M), the R-41M loses a bit on the lower frequency side, but truly we can’t expect more from the size and budget of these speakers.

Throughout the test I never felt short changed by the Klipsch R-41PM speakers. You have to keep in mind how much you’re asking these speakers to do for the money and, as such, they offer a lot for the price. Coupled with the wide array of connectivity options (more than some expensive models I could mention), the comparatively neutral sound output and the admirable clarity over the entire soundstage, the R-41PM speakers offer tremendous value for money. If you’re looking for a pair of powered speakers, keep the Klipsch R-41PMs at the top of your demo list. R-41PM adopts two-way two channels and two single bass reflex port designs. It is equipped with a 1 LTS 1 inch aluminum diaphragm tweeter. The full name of LTS is Linear Travel Suspension. Klipsch emphasizes that this design is effective in reducing distortion and improving high-frequency details. If You want the kind of low-frequency impact, don’t hesitate to buy a subwoofer and turn it into a 2.1-channel system. But if you are like me, you usually listen to music while working, only a pair of R-41PM can meet your needs, and there is no need for an external amplifier! As you would expect from a member of the Klipsch Reference series, the sound is much bigger and fuller than you’d expect from such tiny speakers.A pair of R-41M speakers won’t have any issues performing as a home theater system. In fact, while I think they create a pleasant and enveloping surround sound, they also shine as front speakers. Compared to other bookshelf speakers These speakers are well-thought-out and well-made; they have a solid build and are outfitted with premium parts to guarantee years of pristine audio performance. Specification Specification When seeking high-quality bookshelf speakers that won’t break the bank, the Klipsch R-41 offers M’s an excellent blend of sound quality, design, and features at a very reasonable price range. Conclusion

The LTS aluminum tweeter that measures to be 1-inch in size pairs well with Tractrix Horn to ensure that you don’t have to handle much distortions or nuisances. The Klipsch Reference Wireless system is compatible with the speakers, allowing you to wirelessly stream music from your mobile device, tablet, or computer to the speakers. That means that you may listen to high-quality audio without dealing with any additional connections or wires. The R41M is a 200W speaker and weighs around 7 pounds. The dimensions of this speaker are 11.3-inch x 5.75-inch x 7.9-inch. It means this speaker is pretty much normal in size.

Sound Quality

To me, the winner here is clearly the R-41M. Compared to the Edifier’s R1280DB, bass frequencies coming out of Klipsch’s speakers sound much more realistic, and the overall soundscape is more balanced. Just like other Klipsch speakers, the R-41M is a horn-loaded speaker. It uses 90×90° Tractrix horn technology to reduce any artificial reverb. This way, the R-41M improves sound quality. But when we talk about R51M speakers, we will see that the 340W speakers are huge. The dimensions of these speakers are 13.3-inch x 7-inch x 8.5-inch and the speaker weighs aloof 10 pounds.
