About this deal

I understand the sentiments of many of the commenters. I live in a cold climate and thought these pesky critters would calm down this winter. They have NOT!!!

Smoke Bomb Professional Strength Fogger Fumigator for Fleas Bed Bugs Moths Cluster Fly Spider Poultry Red Mite and All Insects Killer Midi Fumer 11g by Pest O One® The best flea treatment for carpet is diatomaceous earth or chemical spray. Naturally, remember to vacuum clean your carpets frequently. We also used diatonomous earth all over the floors. It does help a lot but I must add a warning. The dust that constantly flies up isn’t so good for you. We have one that you can digest, but we put so much around the house that I got to a point where I had some trouble breathing. And it’s really tough to get off. It gets on everything. It’s all over our stuff and I’m still dusting and finding the dust around decorations and things. Very annoying. But it does work. The fleas were dying in it…but so was I! Lol. So use but do not make dust if possible and don’t breathe it in. Usually, if you have a bit of a flea problem, the best way to remedy the situation is to remove the fleas from your pets and treat your home with something like DE. However, sometimes this is often not enough! If you are finding these pests everywhere and keep getting bitten by fleas on a daily basis, should you consider using a flea fogger? What Exactly Are They and How Do Flea Bombs Work? Post-Bomb Cleanup: After using a flea bomb, open all windows for fresh air circulation, then hoover treated areas thoroughly using an outdoor trash can – flooring, carpets, and furniture should all be treated equally.Imidacloprid is a neonicotinoid pesticide. It can directly affect the nervous system of insects, causing paralysis and convulsions. Shut all the windows to keep the fog inside for as long as possible. You can even use household tape to seal up the windows if they don’t close properly. Make sure all foodstuffs and other consumables (like fruit, etc.) are placed in a cupboard or taken out the house. Electrical appliances (and lights) need to be turned off and covered as foggers are usually highly flammable! All gas ignition systems should also be turned off as this can pose a potential fire hazard. While I understand that blowing up the house will definitely get rid of the fleas, I don’t recommend it as a viable solution. 😉 The crazy think is that I’ve never seen a single flea, (until the vet found one on the cat yesterday), yet I feel itchy all the time. Maybe it’s the power of suggestion. What do you suggest in my case? Thank you so, so much, Natasha!

Products of this type are typically versatile and are effective against different types of insects. Fleas undergo a complete conversion cycle including the egg, larva, pupa, and adult insect stages. During each stage, an IGR acts the same, preventing the insects in any given stage from moving to the next one. Flea bomb selection should put safety first. It’s vital that products that have undergone rigorous tests, are harmless to both people and animals, are chemical-free, and pose minimal risks or harm when pest controlling. Targeted Pests:Flea bombs often target bed bugs, moths, ants, beetles, cluster flies, and more. Choose a product that specifically targets your pests. Xterminate XXL or CritterKill 16g Smoke Bomb Fogger Killers are recommended. When you use flea bombs at home it’s important to note that they are very messy and it is usually advised for humans and animals to be out of the house for between 2-4 hours after the flea bomb is set off. So do flea bombs work? Yes, they are fairly effective for killing fleas but due to the toxins they release, I recommend only using them when the flea situation is very bad. There are also a few other problems like: Many homeowners use organic products such as powdered Safer Brand Diatomaceous Earth, which fleas cannot resist. And it’s effective. Scientists suggest that DE is a great natural flea insecticide. Experts from Penn State Extension explain that DE “kills insects [fleas] through desiccation: they abrade the wax and oil on the insect’s outer covering, leading to dehydration and death.” Flea Bomb Can Kill All Bugs Immediately: True or False? Summary: Flea bombs, sometimes called a flea fogger, have been used for years to effectively control fleas in homes throughout the world. However, using a flea bomb can put your family and pets at risk due to the chemical residue that remains after use and should only be used in extreme circumstances where there is a massive flea infestation (or a battle that you have just been unable to win for some time). Unfortunately, foggers don’t usually reach all the places where fleas could be hiding and while it may be part of a complete flea removal solution, please don’t forget that your pets still need to be treated separately and that the instructions need to be followed carefully to avoid complications.
