Director’s Short Film: “Joyride” with Optional Commentary– Again, pretty self-explanatory. His film 1996 Joyride did show some promise. Now I Know What You Did Last Summer– Probably the most robust segment is this nearly 30 minute featurette that has cast and crew laud praise on one another. We also get some history of the project, it was based on the 1973 novel by Lois Duncan. finally, the film looking very good for home consumption. The picture is now handsomely grainy and filmic. Grain is consistent in depth and density,Collection of 7 deleted scenes, presented in very rough, fuzzy, low def quality (there’s even a disclaimer beforehand stating that the quality doesn’t reflect the filmmaker’s final work). way -- large and small alike -- the old Blu-ray's great superior. Here, the picture is very filmic. Grain retention is obvious, and the grain presentation perhaps spiking only a little in nighttime and low light shots and scenes. The image is nicely detailed as well, offering stable, accurate renderings of Subtitles: English, English SDH, Arabic, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French (Parisian), French (Québécois), German, Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish (Castilian), Spanish (Latin American), Swedish, Thai, Turkish and detailed clarity of individual cheers and instrumentals. In the wake of I Know What You Did Last Summer hitting 4K Ultra HD last year, sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is getting its own 4K Ultra HD upgrade this year. This has been remixed and remastered for sure. Dialog volume is balanced perfectly. Height effects and surround sound is noticeable right away. Music is above me and around me. Also, very early on I heard some deep bass. This movie has been remixed for modern home cinema, and for people with subwoofers because the bass is excellent. It's 100% been re-tuned from the old Dolby True HD mix. I love it! I wish all Atmos remixes also improved bass like this. Most just keep the levels the same, and mix sound above and around. This sounds good, but this movie has been completely rebalanced, and why not eh? I Know What You Did Last Summer 4K looks very good. Grain consistency is almost perfect. Let down by a couple of noisy scenes. Nothing crazy though. I am surprised that Sony actually got this looking so good. The detail is absolutely incredible. For 90's cameras, it's pretty amazing. It's not oversharpened, but there is some camera ringing around hard objects. It is sporadic and didn't ruin the experience for me. Also, one of the best things about Sony transfers is their clarity under movement. Panning shots retain a lot of detail, something that cannot be said for movies like Scream and Scream 2. I discussed this with my brother, and the difference between this and Scream is significant. It's a Sony thing, it's the icing on the cake. Sony just pushes harder to get better transfers and this is no exception. The Dolby Vision grading solidifies the color palette and amplifies the tonal vividness and exactness. Compared to the Blu-ray, there is no real

Textures are super sharp, very fine, and intimately complex. Gone is the pervasive flatness and artificial sharpness, replaced by a wonderful, natural In Williamson’s original scripted ending, Julie and Ray are still together one year later. Julie is rejuvenated. “The CAMERA comes upon her face and it appears a revelation. This is the Julie of old. Her youthful face has been restored.” Killer Animatronics– Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy transform from cute and cuddly into creepy and killer through a combination of costumed performers and cutting-edge puppetry. It’s propulsive and fun, but manages to deliver the nonsense and jump scares with just enough emotional and psychological realism – especially as the friends start to suspect each other – to keep us invested.
