I’m now used to Weber narrating Coben stories and he’s the perfect choice for his kind of storytelling. He’s gifted and he helped ratchet up the tension and excitement. And, he does sarcasm like no other. I particularly liked the way it weaves together multiple threads of the story, from Paul's personal demons to the broader investigation into the murders. Coben does a great job of balancing these different elements, and the result is a complex and layered story that is both emotionally resonant and intellectually satisfying.

Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter, That Night by Chevy Stevens, Dark Places by Gillian Flynn... but this my friends takes the cake. This book seriously had me hanging on every damn word the entire time.

I was so happy to see that Harlan Coben had written another Myron Bolitar book. I have been a HUGE fan of Coben’s from the beginning and have read every Myron Bolitar as it was published. I think Harlan Coben is at his finest when writing the Bolitar series; the stand alones have been more mixed for me. I disliked the ending for The Stranger so much that for the first time ever I skipped one of his books, Fool Me Once. All of that being said, the return to Myron is wonderful. Home is absolutely fabulous, and I was very glad that I read it. The book grabbed me from the very first line: “The boy who has been missing for ten years steps into the light.” And the pace of the story never slows down.Home” is far more than any other ordinary mystery novel. It is an amazingly moving thriller which not only entertain a reader’s curious mind but also a novel which contains many powerful and important lessons . It is a story of love, courage and hope . The kind of hope , which according to Harlan Coben, could be the most wonderful thing or the most heart-breaking thing . Ready yourself as you read one of the best mystery thriller that you would ever read. This was hard to put down as the pace never lets up. Every time I thought David might be relatively safe to catch a break, something would happen to mess that up. There are the typical twisty moments but there’s more about David’s commitment to find and rescue his son that captured my heart and soul. His transformation from a man without a will to live to someone with everything to live for was inspiring. Just bring your seat belt because this isn’t an easy ride. Harlan Coben's strength is pulling the reader into the story with a unique plot and interesting characters. This book focuses on David Burroughs, who has been in prison for the past five years for killing his three-year-old son Matthew. He doesn't remember doing it, but he had been known to sleepwalk and he had been drinking, so there's definitely doubt. His former sister-in-law Rachel visits, the first visitor he has had since being in jail. She has something to show and tell him that is almost unbelievable. A photo that shows that Matthew might just be alive. Now David is desperate to get out to try to find Matthew and uncover what really happened that night. Home is the 11th book in the Myron Bolitar series and it’s the first time we see into the perspective of Win. We really enjoyed getting a look into Win’s head and thoughts and seeing just how much heart he really has. We think this series and the characters just gets better and better. Imprisoned for life, refusing visitors and accepting his fate. Learning to defend himself, it seems he has survived thus far. Life turns sharply when David’s sister-in-law Rachel turns up unannounced. What she has to say will spur David to emerge from his languor and fight for his son and his freedom. Five years ago, an innocent man began a life sentence for murdering his own son. Today he found out his son is still alive.
