About this deal

German Shepherd Rescue helps rehome German Shepherds across the UK. Can you help us raise funds so that we can rescue more unwanted German Shepherd Dogs?

Whilst in the home, she is relaxed and respectful of her surroundings. Apart from a couple accidents when she first arrived, she is clean in the house. She sleeps happily and quietly at night, next to my bed where she can see me. At night she rushes in to gobble up her bedtime treats. On account of cream, fabric sofas (mistake made 20 years ago) in the foster home, TEQUILA has learnt not to use these as day beds, but she’s allowed up in the evening, once they’re covered with a throw. Here she’s in her seventh heaven, spending the whole evening snuggled up beside foster mum. When she first meets new people, she is keen for interaction and nothing less than a full-blown cuddle is expected. Tequila hasn’t met children whilst she’s been in foster, but doesn’t show any fear of them from a distance, unlike the resident dog. TEQUILA hasn’t been cat tested but I would assume a fairly high level of caution. We suspect Bill is a GSD x Great Dane due to his size Bill is good with other dogs he’s met at the kennels and was was very inquisitive when he saw the dogs in the exercise area at the kennels when our volunteers went to meet him, but we think Bill would do better as an only dog where he can build trust in the home as he is a little nervous when meeting new people. Some breeds, such as Labrador retrievers, are high energy puppies and if you’re living in an apartment, that might not be the best choice for you. Of course, in most cases, no matter what breed you’re thinking about, you’re going to find having a puppy with you can be both an incredibly rewarding and an incredibly challenging experience. This is certainly not the breed for everyone and if you are considering owning a Caucasian Ovcharka, please make sure that you thoroughly research the breed first. They may be the cutest bundles of fluff imaginable as puppies but they are a giant breed and will grow into a very large immensely powerful dog. Caucasian Shepherds that we have for rehoming.Tasha arrived in the UK in 2018 and has been in kennels ever since that's nearly 5 years, unwanted and unloved! Cara is great with the other dogs 95% of the time, she travels with them, runs with them, goes on walks, fine out in the garden has even shared a bed but.... if foster mum lets her settle near her, she will warn any dog off of coming near her, so we are looking for a fosterer with no other resident dogs. Puppies will still have to wait until they are 4 months old to pass the DEFRA requirements to travel, as was the case before. This may be done by reaching out to a qualified behaviourist or trainer and even if you get professional help, you will still need to put in the work in terms of putting what you have learned into practice, and by repetition. Either way, bringing a puppy home and into your heart will change both of your lives forever. Free Puppy Listings – list or get puppies for free. Free Puppy Listings

Bill is a placid boy who would benefit from some training as he’s strong on the lead but does know his basic commands and is extremely gentle taking treats BELLA just loves life and people. The very first picture we had of her from Spain she had a rabbit, almost as big as she is, in her mouth so she has hunted so we think no small furries in her new home! She has been left with the resdient dogs for up to 4 hours with no issues. Happy to work for treats so ongoing training should be fun with this clever little girl and whilst can be a little unsure in a new environment with a little reassurance, she settles well. Travels well in the car and housetrained. If you are looking for a cuddly, happy, small breton BELLA is the rescue for you! Foster mum says that she will need a “fun, loving, cuddly canine buddy in her forever home”.Do you have the time to spend with the dog? Do you go on frequent trips? Can the dog come with you? Do you have a pet sitter? He is currently in Southampton, but the home is too busy and he is getting stressed. Looking for a small miracle, but it is that time of the year, so here's hoping. Over 20 years experience with German Shepherds and large breeds like Caucasian and Central Asian Shepherds.

Do you work out of the home? If so, how many hours? Do you have a plan for the dog while you are gone? Can someone come in?

About us

We are looking for a fosterer (we would responsible for all his veterinary care for the rest of his days) for ZEUS.

Neighbor or friend – Sometimes they have a dog they can no longer care for properly, but they may also have accidental litters She has been left alone for 1 ½ hours and seems to settle well without any undue stress. She absolutely adores company, so wouldn’t cope with being left by herself for long periods of time. She also loves the car, jumps in eagerly and doesn’t make any noise whilst traveling. TEQUILA would be happy to share her forever home with another calm, confident dog but I also think she would be contented to be an only dog with an active, stimulating family who like giving lots of cuddles. She is an absolute sweetheart and has been a joy to foster. Before you bring your new puppy home, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve got everything you need. Many experts suggest having a dog crate available that will work both as a means of housetraining your puppy and also providing a safe environment. Dogs are descended from wolves, after all, and wolves are “den dwellers.” They feel most secure when they have protection on all sides and can face outwards for any intruders that might show up. When you make the decision to bring a puppy into your life, you’re taking on an emotional and financial responsibility that will last for years — and, in return, you’ll find yourself with a companion that will be by your side through some of the most joyful times of your life, as well as provide you with comfort and unconditional love when you’re going through some rough patches.Navigate to the sub-categories of Employment, Education and Training Employment, Education and Training 1 After you’ve searched for free puppies near me and found the puppy you’ve always wanted, you’re also going to want to get that newest member of the family socialized. This can be done either by taking your puppy out for walks around the neighborhood or by going to a dog park and letting it run around and just generally play around with the other puppies that are there. A dog that is well-socialized will be friendly (but not too friendly) with strangers and will be alert to any potential dangers that might be around.
