About this deal

Mini chopper A small food processor that's well suited to chopping up nuts and herbs, and softer vegetables such as onions and carrots. If it’s within budget and you want a true kitchen multi-tasker, the Bosch MultiTalent 8 Food Processor is a top choice. It’s capable and comes with a huge range of attachments for expanding your kitchen repertoire. It’s also not the most expensive food processor on the market by any means, likely because most of the attachments are plastic. However, if you frequently cook several portions at once, or do lots of baking, you might want to consider a food processor or stand mixer instead. These take up more space, but are better for this.

Kitchen footprint and storage: mini by name, mini by nature. Small, compact designs are what we wanted to see, not something that could be mistaken for a food processor We also tried each hand blender with Cambridge simulation gloves , which simulates reduced hand mobility, to see which ones are more comfortable to use for people with limited dexterity or strength. The best are comfortable to hold, even with reduced hand strength, the worst vibrated a lot and were uncomfortable to keep hold of after a minute or so. Washability Those with difficult-to-reach crevasses or blender heads that couldn't be removed were the worst products we tried. The best hand blenders were easy to rinse out and clean by hand. Build quality Ease of washing: easy-to-clean parts with not too many nooks and crannies. If parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher, even better

Higher power (wattage) means the blender should spin faster. There is some advice that talks about the different amount of power you need for different foods, but our thorough testing has found no real correlation between the power of a hand blender and the results you get. Looking for a saving on one of the mini choppers in this list? Cyber Monday has arrived, and we've spotted the following savings on these tried-and-tested models. We blended mayonnaise for three minutes, noted how easy to was to keep holding the blender and how much the handle warmed up. Functions: easy to use buttons, dials and knobs that make using the mini chopper a breezer were preferred

Not everyone is on the hunt for a hand blender with lots of bells and whistles, but we still tested every attachment they came with, so we can tell you which ones are the best. Screws are typically threaded fasteners, tightened using a screwdriver or wrench to create a firm hold and maintain the lawnmower's structure. Why do you replace the screws? We hand-washed each blender's main attachment to see how easy it was to remove residual food and liquid. The worst hand blenders left us with chopped nuts and herbs of a variety of sizes, lumpy mash and us wondering if the egg whites would ever reach stiff peaks. Ease of usePaying more for a hand blender will usually get you more attachments, which slot into the main blender handle to get different food processing jobs done. The best hand blenders produced silky-smooth foods with a consistent texture. The worst left lots of chunks behind and our hands tingly after use from the large vibrations. Endurance We made soup, houmous and smoothies with each hand blender, running each ran for the same length of time, on the highest setting.

Finished results: we were looking for fine and even results whatever we chopped. Onions should be cleanly cut, not mushy. Breadcrumbs needed to be consistently cut. We didn’t want to see any tearing of the parsley leaves, and curry pastes should be smooth

Continuous use, exposure to outdoor elements, and vibration cause screws to loosen, stripped, or even break over time. They can come off without being noticed. Once lost, it can be difficult to find a missing screw. Damaged or worn screws compromise the structural integrity of the lawnmower and pose safety risks during operation. Would this fit in my lawnmower? We assumed that all these extra attachments would give similar results, but we found big differences in quality. Members can see what these differences were. Ease of use: we wanted to see mini choppers that were easy to assemble, with an unfussy control panelSplash guard Usually sold separately, these fit over a bowl, with a hole for the hand blender to pass through. It helps prevent splashes from going on to your work surface. Capacity of the bowl: as with speed, we wanted a good balance, we didn’t want the capacity to be too small that we couldn’t even fit an onion in it, equally not too large that it was verging into food processor territory Whisk An attachment to incorporate air into a mixture. Good for whipping up egg whites, cream cake mixes and batters. We selected the best-selling hand blenders from the most popular brands available at key retailers. Screws are essential little parts that secure blades, handles, and engine parts in lawnmowers. They provide a secure connection and prevent parts from coming loose during operation.
