About this deal

So you just have to say that this fragrance is very creative and I have not yet smelled something comparable. Is it blind buy safe? Why not? I blind bought it as it was super affordable and fell in love with it at the first sniff. The reason I'm giving it a love is that although it's not groundbreaking, it has an extremely attractive price point for a larger audience - especially those that don't like more traditional our fragrances. Extreme versatility with a brilliant sillage. It’s one of those colognes that women seem to love and compliment, likely because it steps away from male cologne stereotypes. Oud Satin Mood is the perfect long-lasting fragrance for sultry winter date nights. Longevity is great on my skin, very long lasting, but not beastmode. I get 7to8 hrs on skin and and hour more on clothing. It has HUGE projection for the first two- absolutely leaves a trail behind, then it becomes a personal scent- within one's own bubble, but still noticeable.

Longevity: On skin 10 (16+ hours), 9 (12-16 hours), 8 (10-12 hours), 7 (8-10 hours), 6 (6-8 hours), 5 (3-6 hours) After two hours or more of dry down, the blast of turmeric dissipates to leave behind more of a spicy vanilla, but still no pineapple is detectable. The scent seems to carry throughout a room, and I got a compliment on it from someone who was about four feet away. It also has a decent lasting power – I could still smell it on myself after an 8 hour workday. It's not only a perfume, but an unbelievable experience, even more so as a blind buy, like it was for me. The drydown is pretty sweet, spicy and smoky on my skin- I detect lots of patch, but also amber and smoke( maybe the oud?) . The end result strongly reminds of Instant Crush by mancera, however IC is prettier, sweeter and devoid of smoke. Oud for Glory is sweet musky/smoky bomb ion the other hand. I have never smelled Oud for Greatness, so I can'т compare the two. I see this frag suitable for only cold weather- late fall and winter only! This would be unbearable and cloying in temps above 10 degrees Celsius, so spring and summer is a no-no for me. Occasions- casuals, dates( it has a playful side). I don't realy think that Oud for Glory is appropriate for office settings at all. These are different but this is the most similar to Opulent Oud. OR is more complex and has more of a refined feel to it. Both have well above average performance. The dry-down is where the saltiness of the amber gives the best. Vanilla is there just to sweeten the roses, but I don’t get a gourmand slant of it. Likewise, oud is there to darken the roses, but I don’t get a big blast of it. The oud note always remains contained, almost sedated, never too harsh or raunchy. The oud doesn’t come through until drydown and is more of a supporting note here, anyway. Instead, amber, or better ambroxan, dominates the final stage with its somewhat woody nuance akin to cedar, salty and animalic like the ambergris. The scent is not as long lasting as I was hoping, 4 hours in it has become a faint sandalwood dominant wrist scent for me. No strong projection from what I can tell. The complex spiciness, the depth and darkness of amber, the buzzing woody freshness keep switching positions on the "stage" and intertwining in a joyful "play" that entertains and delights your senses through the whole day!

It smells moldy, dark and incense like, just imagine a really old grandmother and really old church combined. And the sun is very hot overhead and there is a dewy smell coming from the ocean waves across the street. Got a 2 ml sample of this and after a full wearing i'll share my opinion. This doesn't smell exactly like Bade al Oud, but it has the same type of vibe, they are definetly related. While the original has that Baccarat similarity with the burnt sugar / caramel (but darker), this one is more rosey and it really smells like the color dark purple (if color had a smell). What it shares with the original Oud for Glory is its denseness and type of sweetness and it is very apparent that they are sibling fragrances. It is as if the ingredients come from the same cauldron just with added tweaks to make the scent different, if that makes sense. Owning both isn't redundant tho, not in the slightest. Edit: I got it and i'm in love. This is also great for layering. I layered this with Dalaal Al Rehab on top and let me tell you.............. sorcery. Full on sorcery. So good, try it and thank me in your dreams. First, let me say this: yes this is absolutely a dupe of Initio's Atomic Rose. But no, it is not a perfect clone.

Upon spraying myself, I did enjoy the opening. I do own Hacivat but not Ani (eventually I will). It doesn’t smell like Hacivat at all to me.
