The HO scale oil, cream and raspberry syrup tankers and the mail coach were all initially released as they appeared in the model series but were reissued with their CGI series insignia in 2011. Sir Handel's whistle from the tenth series onwards is reused from Mighty Mac's whistles from the same series. His whistle sound is their whistle sounds from the ninth series only, but at five steps lower-pitched ( Mighty) and seven steps lower-pitched ( Mac/ Rex).

I agree that Peter Sam has the most appeal and sales potential, and I've seen the demand for him has been greater than any of the other characters in narrow gauge. Yes there's been talk about Duncan and Sir Handel too, but it's been an on and off topic. I personally feel that out of the 3 engines, Peter Sam would be the best one to add to the range for 2019. While he is mostly based on his CGI model, there are some details that aren't on the render, that are on Edward Thomas.
