Skousen was a member of the Meadeau View Institute but resigned citing "irregularities" in management. [20] While at the Institute, he mentored Oliver DeMille, and his influence helped shape George Wythe University, a private, unaccredited university in Cedar City, Utah, which grew out of the Meadeau View, at one point used Skousen's books as texts, [21] [22] and closed in 2016. This title has easily placed itself in my top, most influential reads and will be one I’ll listen/refer to often. I just can’t say enough about this book! I will forever be recommending it to any and all who love freedom and God-given morality. Please, please, read this book! Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the U.S. would be a demonstration of “moral strength.”
