About this deal

Boë Violet Gin is based on their award-winning Boë Superior Gin recipe, which is known for its earthy and floral flavor notes. A few of the botanicals used in their gin are cassia bark, rose petals, orange, ginger, licorice, and almonds. It is said to be surprisingly light on the palate with a spicy finish and is perfect either neat over ice or mixed with a neutral tonic like Fever Tree Mediterranean with cacao nibs as a garnish. It also works in a Martini with a Dry Vermouth.

It’s amazing to drink this gin neat due to the very present classic gin taste, but this drink will also work great in a spritz if it’s mixed with prosecco. The perfect serve for this gin would be to add tonic water and ice and garnish with a violet flower. This gin would also work amazing in a spritz if paired with prosecco. Artful Pour Violet Gin

All the same, her data show that violet may have already peaked. “To be honest, we found that 2018 was the year of violet,” she says. “The Zymurgorium brand caused a huge spike. The biggest month we had was July 2018. We had a good long tail, but it’s not a trending product any more.” She says we should watch out instead for mead, vermouth, pineapple-spiced rum and orange gin. “We think that’s going to be huge,” she says, much in the same way a record label might have touted a hot new act in the past. This variety is mainly due to the fact that gin distillers all have a different base gin to create their violet gin with.
