Now I’m very excited to dive into the final book of the series, Sleet Banshee, which will follow my favorite vixen, Meghan! We get some glimpses of what her story might be throughout this book and in the epilogue…and I have a feeling this one will be my favorite of the trilogy! The two of them are coming in H O T, but also realizing from the first minute that this is not just a one time thing.

Throughout the book SJ Tilly weaves a beautiful story of two people with the best intentions who have been burned in their past trying to make it work (also a lot of Zach chasing Izzy which I LOVED, where do I find men like these?? I want to sign up!! 💜) His voice also comes across robotic. As I’m reading, I can hear the monotone in my head, and that just doesn’t work for me. and Katelyn was just the right amount of everything -- sweet, funny, awkward in the most adorable of ways and took no sh**t.Leonie: Handsome, cultured—and a nobleman? There’s no way Henry Grey would be interested in a woman like me. Even if I was his type, I’m sure he’ll marry someone of the same social standing as him. But it can’t hurt a girl to dream, right? You went younger last time. I see you’re trying your hand at older tonight. But you’re wrong to keep trying. You don’t need to keep searching for your perfect man.” Despite Izzy pushing Zach away quite a bit, I loved Zach's tenacity and possessive personality. He respectfully crashes dates, pushes Izzy outside of her comfort zone and builds something beautiful between the two of them. Even Izzy finally succumbs to his charm and wit. owd- the coach’s daughter asks the H on a date, but he lets her know he’s not interested and the ow ends up befriending the h But fate wasn’t finished with me. A fire started by my brother’s enemies claimed half my face, and then I had to go through literally losing my brother.

But he’s fun. And great. And I think I might be falling for him. But I don’t know if he’s falling for me, too, or if he’s as much of a player off the ice as on. There are steamy scenes as their relationship develops into something more. The author used a dual point of view for the reader to understand both characters’ feelings. The suspense added flavor to the story leaving the reader craving for more. Plus, nothing freaking happens troughout the whole book. Zero angst, zero reason to doubt that these characters will end up together = me bored to death.

I LOVED that Katelyn had the Sunday brunch with the girls, Meghan, Steph and Izzy and that they were all so supportive of one another. Whatever assurance you want from me, consider them granted. Isabelle Thorpe, I want to date you. You and only you. I'll be whatever you want me to be." Right from the get-go these two hit it off, and despite the misunderstandings of the early stags of dating, they did everything possible to make it work. And finally, the hero literally renamed the heroine - her name is Katelyn - does he call her Katelyn or Kate or any variation of her name more than once in this book? No, he calls her Kitten. He calls her Kitten so muuch that all of the other characters (including his mother!) also start calling her Kitten. Jesus, I hated that so much! The end, god the end, when something bad happens to Izzy and Zach intervenes. Then he talks to her dad. It is just hot guy, alpha guy, sweet guy gold. Izzy's dad melted my heart and his interaction with Zach and Izzy is one of the best parts of the whole book.

Now why did she not finish this book???? Well...I’m glad you asked. This may not be a deal breaker for most people but it’s something I find annoying as hell. This couple had everything I love reading about -- they cared for each other, they were honest and the spice was just 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Henry: My parents have given me a firm deadline: marry by forty, or they’ll choose a wife for me. As the Viscount Lisle, I’m not in a position to disappoint my family. But I also don’t intend to marry for anything other than love. When I meet a gorgeous musician, it seems like I might not have to choose. This will likely be very cute, sweet, swoony reading for many. I, unfortunately, do not fall under the many category.

He also happens to come from a crime family that has become legitimate. His father was a part of a mafia group, and Vincent wants to have a different image. He’s also a single father and a man she should not want, but unfortunately, she can’t stop thinking about it. He didn’t like how Sasha sneaked out of his bed in Vegas, but now he feels that she’s where he wants her if only she could stay out of his way. At first, Sasha wished she should have the other direction, paid her tab, and then returned to her room, but he was there to confuse her. Much of what I have to say about this book I said about the first book - please note I finished this series out of spite. How will she handle herself when she gets to the game after realizing over twenty thousand people in the stands are wearing his jersey?

MMC is like the director’s cut version of Prince Charming on Ice. Everything he says, does, thinks, feels is so OTT perfect. A carefully constructed balance of naughty, caveman, gentleman, saint. It’s overload. It’s just not fathomable to be THAT f’ing perfectly dimensional toward the entire spectrum of swoony rainbow female fantasy. Fate took almost everything from me, but at least I still had my brother, and Saint, my best friend and hopeless crush. Vincent didn’t take long before realizing he could have something special with Sasha since she’s the kindest and sweetest being he has met. Sasha has a lot of compassion and love for people; you can’t help but love her. However, soon Vincent’s past comes haunting him when his ex-brother-in-law shows up, threatening both Sasha and Annie. Will Sasha’s love be enough to save him? I absolutely adores Zach and Izzy. I thought he was the perfect, sweet alpha male for her. He brought out the best in her and she him. My heart broke a little during a certain scene, making Zachary spiral and with thoughts of not being good enough. Sleet Sugar was the perfect sequel to this series! We now follow Isabelle, the coach's daughter AKA Izzy, and Zach, the NHL player and their not only a one-night-stand romance! We jump right into their first date with a hot night of sex that, through happy chance and strong sexual attraction, turns into an addictive romance!
