The Fool has come a long way, traveled from far beyond to come to this pinnacle that rises up upon the edge of the world; and yet her journey is just about to begin. She senses this with instinctive perceptions as she rises up upon her toes, caught up in the breathless embrace of the wind in the moment before the plunge. Her heart pounds and flutters in her chest with the force of a hundred beating wings struggling to break free of the cage of her being; until she feels she must be sprouting wings from her shoulders to glide forth from that place, transformed. When you look at this Magus Thoth Tarot Card, the center is a youthful relaxed character, who is a great dexterity (on the tip of the toe) on the mountain of the subconscious and juggling various symbols floating around.

Those who promise but never do, those who are not ambitious, those who do not do anything or are powerless, those who are resolute, persistent. This is the moment when you can see the true meaning – emphasize the truth – about life, meaning it embraces a lot of beauty, joy, and happiness in life if you search enough and find the right place. Let’s spread these important messages. The Sun in the upright implies that this is a great time to test different spiritual approaches to see if they work for you. Situation and advice The Major Arcana cards are embellished with birds and butterflies, which are symbols of Spirit. However, I could discern no unifying color for the Majors as I did for the suits of the Minor Arcana. The individual cards of the Major Arcana are colored according to their specific needs, although Law does seem to have a penchant for cool blues and violets. Many of the cards show animal imagery – fox appears in the Fool, owl appears in the High Priestess, birds in the Lovers, Strength, the Hermit, Judgment, and the World, horses and sea creatures in the Chariot, lion in Strength, butterflies in Justice, dragon and phoenix in Temperance, fish in the Star, and many more, including foxes, lions, cats, unicorns and more.

One of my favorite cards is the Fool. A female figure stands atop a pinnacle, rising up at the edge of the world, her arms outspread. A fox sits at her feet, unable to comprehend the leap of faith (and literal leap) that the Fool is about to take. Sometimes, this is the signal to do what needs to be done. It’s time to take responsibility. The past will always haunt you until you realize the mistake and correct it. You will need to consider everything carefully and make important decisions about the future. Standing up and fighting can be good things in a few cases, but there are situations in which resistance will only cause distress. If you are caught up in a conflict, ask yourself whether it is worth fighting for. Is the reason for this conflict important? Is it worth it? Will the results benefit to you or others? If so, be brave and eager to stand up, protect your position. Refuse to surrender! If not, consider ignoring this inconsistency. Be honest with yourself about this. You will be challenged to maintain your position, especially if you have invested too much time and energy into it. Do not get dragged into the fight unless it is worth standing up and fighting for.
