About this deal

Ron was 44 when, in 1999, a friend showed him an ad looking for volunteers to take part in the Castaway project.

Offering sessions of counselling after the show is finished is like putting a plaster on a deep festering wound. LEGO IDEAS 40566 Ray the Castaway is a really neat and cool set that has lots of playable features. Although its small, LEGO fans can recreate many castaway scenes on the desert island. These include cooking with the campfire, exploring all the small animals nearby, resting in the shelter, enjoying the shade under the nice palm trees or exploring the oceans with the raft. Overall, this is a nice set. The complete set took about 45 minutes to build and that includes sorting the pieces too. Ray the Castaway comes with one Minifigure. Can you guess his name? Ray features a double-sided torso and dual molded legs. The torso is one we’ve seen before, as is the bearded hairpiece. However, in this case both suit the character. Additionally, the set includes a bottle, a treasure chest, three rubies, a parrot, a crab, a whip, and two fish. This fun character with all his accessories easily earns 100% for design. I was told producers were talking about the different people they liked as if we were characters in a soap, and she was worried because I was so open and honest. It did make me think twice. I was the last of all the islanders to sign my contract. You first start building the base that consists of blue, beige and green colors. The blue represents the ocean while the beige represents the sand. The green represents some of the grass. Here, we have already added a yellow starfish on the blue base as well as a clear bottle in the ocean. With many new sets launching during its period of availability it should not be too difficult to find something to buy to acquire it.

Ray the Castaway by Dadi Twins has won the LEGO Group’s official “ Do You Want To Go to the Seaside?” contest! Congratulations to David and Diego! Please help us in congratulating them in the comments. Photos of the incredible set: Valid from October 1-13, 2022 or while supplies last. For those living in Australia, the promo gift set is now sold out at LEGO Shop at Home Australia. Winners Announcement – We’ll share the Grand Prize winner and five Runner Up winners here on LEGO Ideas no later than May 31st, 2021!

And the people making these shows should be more respectful of the lives contestants will have when the cameras stop rolling. It’s heartbreaking that so many people in the spotlight have issues as a direct result of their fame, whether that’s five minutes or a long and even very successful career.

Dumping out the contents, you get a instructions booklet and five bags of pieces. Note that they are not numbered. However, its not unusual as this set isn’t that big. This is the front box for the LEGO IDEAS 40566 Ray the Castaway front box. It has the recommended age, set number and number of pieces.Design-wise, I like how closely they kept to DadiTwins’ original design, and how it’s so immediately recognisable. When I left the show, I had people spit on me, verbally abusing me and it got to the stage where I didn’t want to leave the house. This set does sport ten palm fronds in three shades of green, which is quite nice for a set of this size. It’s definitely the parts highlight of the set, especially if you can rustle up the missing pieces for a third palm. That said, Ray the Castaway is a bit of an exception, as it didn’t go through the typical 10,000 votes and review round process, as it was the winning entry in the Do You Want To Go To The Seaside LEGO Ideas competition, following in the footsteps of recent LEGO Ideas GWPs like 40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures, 40448 Vintage Car and 40487 Sailboat Adventures,
